Not great for couples- or during a conference

I wouldn't normally be so critical, but there was a lot about this resort that didn't meet expectations. Firstly, we were booked into a 1BD apartment- the balcony/living room looked directly onto the road that leads into reception. Not at all aesthetic. The bathroom configuration was very cramped and light switches in separate rooms. The pool did not seem at all heated, despite advertised. There was rarely anyone managing concierge or reception (as I checked many times for buggy service and other things). Not to mention the queue of cars down the street trying to check-in. The internal roads and car parking are so narrow it causes a lot of bottleneck. Additionally, there was a conference taking place and it took over the entire restaurant! As an Accor Plus member I was looking forward to dining at Park & Cove for meals but could not. I am also an Accor Gold member, but there definitely were no perks afforded here. On a positive note, every staff member we encountered were very polite and friendly.

Our 1 bed unit faced the reception area with noisy music and traffic and no privacy. Room finishes were tired. Couch had stains on it. Sliding glass door to bedroom was dirty. External veradah walkways were stained. Overall, the complex lacks cleaning and maintenance and not worth what we paid.

Whilst we love the location and the walk up the hill is great exercise for us, the standard of the rooms & resort in general is looking very tired. We had a sewer smell in our bathroom and the room had a ‘musty’ smell to it.
