nobody on reception when we tried to check in. We had to walk around the hotel to find any staff. No bathroom towels, bath mat or hand towels in the room. We had to find staff to get the items. Bathroom was not clean.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel and wasn't disappointed. The room was warm and comfortable and the food is very good. The staff are excellent, especially Aga and Philip, who look after their guests so well. I will definitely stay again when in the area.

Can’t fault the service at the hotel, they were all so friendly and helpful even when I had to ring up before our stay to make a few last minute changes. Very cosy place and food was excellent. Thank you for a great stay
