More than a little disappointing

My husband and I visited this hotel to celebrate my birthday, we checked in on Sunday 23rd of June. Unfortunately our experience fell well below expectations for a number of reasons: 1. The spa was closed for the duration of our stay and no-one had informed us at check in 2. The tv had one working channel (no one could look at this when we complained) 3. The bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied from previous occupant of the room 4. Bathroom sink was clogged with some remnants from previous occupant. Some of this issues are particularly hard to take as my husband had paid an additional £45 to upgrade our room. I did write an email of complaint at the time as there was no management to speak to we were told, but as I write we have had no response. If you are thinking of booking a stay here I advise that you will find better quality/value elsewhere!

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the spa being closed during your visit. This should have been communicated to you at check-in, and we regret the oversight. Additionally, we are sorry to learn about the malfunctioning TV and the state of the bathroom. These are not the standards we strive to maintain, and your experience clearly fell short. The cleanliness issues you mentioned, including the bathroom bin and clogged sink, are unacceptable. We take such matters very seriously and have addressed these with our housekeeping team to ensure they do not recur. We understand the frustration caused by the lack of response to your email complaint and the inability to speak with management during your stay. This is not reflective of the level of service we aim to provide, and we are reviewing our communication procedures to prevent such occurrences in the future. Been a member for a few months now and during that time the steam room has been closed twice (once for nearly a fortnight), the jacuzzi has been closed and or far too hot or cols to use and now the whole pool area, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi area has been closed for days. Was told it would be repaired today but having experience of the place I called ahead to find out that it wasn't fixed and was told nobody knew when it would be..... No offer of membership money back or a future discount even though I paid and can't use it.

We deeply regret the inconvenience you have experienced due to the recurring closures of our steam room, jacuzzi, and the entire pool area. Please rest assured, any decisions to close any of our facilities are not taken lightly as we understand the importance to our members. Unfortunately occasionally maintenance issues do force close down of facilities and we regret that replacement parts are often not easy to come by or quickly delivered. We understand that as a valued member, consistent access to our facilities is crucial, and we sincerely apologise for the disruptions. The extended closures and temperature issues you’ve encountered are certainly not reflective of the standard we aim to provide. We are actively working to address these maintenance issues to ensure they do not recur in the future. Your frustration is completely understandable, especially with the lack of clear communication regarding repair timelines. We are revising our notification procedures to keep our members better informed about any unexpected closures and the progress of repairs. We genuinely value your membership and are committed to improving our service. We hope you will give us another chance to provide the quality experience you expect and deserve. Habituée aux standards Accor j’avais opté pour cet hôtel qui ne mérite en au un cas c’est 4 étoiles… Logée au niveau rdc (ground) la chambre était sommaire sans climatisation et sans ouverture possible de la fenêtre. La chambre était bruyante et mal isolée. Pas de fexible dans la douche. Un seul lot de serviette alors que nous étions deux (nous avons demandé un autre lot qui nous a été donné a l’accueil). L’hôtel est un labyrinthe où aucune information n’est clairement donnée (salle pdj, restaurant…). En bref, déçue je déconseille fortement cet hôtel.

Accueil glacial : à la fois au check in et également au départ alors que c’était le jour de l’an. J’ai rarement vu un tel manque d’empathie client. Les explications pour accéder aux chambres sont débitées au pas de course, heureusement, tout est fléché. Ce n’est pas très bien insonorisé avec le couloir Les points positifs : les chambres, le restaurant, le parking gratuit. Le bâtiment me paraît un peu viellissant et devrait être renové par rapport aux standards d’autres hôtels mercure.

O hotel é bastante agradável, com atendimento simpático e disponível. É rodeado por um campo de golfe e bosque, o que o torna realmente muito sossegado. As suites são agradáveis e o serviço de quartos exemplar.
