Very good hotel very clean the only thing I would say isit needs night time entertainment for children like a mini discs the hotel it’s self is amazing but the lack of entertainment is the only thing to let this hotel down food is great drinks are great all branded the land of legends park is amazing !

All workers are kind and helpful great experience will definitely be back, kids enjoyed all the free ice creams and food only down side tropical bar gets very busy sometimes takes a while to get drinks as that’s the only place all inclusive can get drinks maybe table service for hotel guest by the wave pool and free crisp for hotel guest but they are minor on the grand scheme of things

Great experience - better than Disney

Overall, great experience at the hotel and surrounding shopping arcade and amusement/water park. Having been to Disney several times, I consider Land of Legends as being a less commercial, more relaxed experience. The hotel itself is Family-focused, with a sweets bar at the entrance with a wide selection of candies. Plenty of activities for the little ones, so expect to be kept busy. The food at the buffet (it is an all-inclusive resort) is fresh, and selection wide enough to cater for most pallets. Access to the sister hotel (Rixos beach) was appreciated, although would have preferred if the shuttle timings were more varied (13:30 departure; 16:30 return as the only option). Apart from this small gripe, the service from all staff was warm and helpful, and I want to specifically call out our assigned concierge, Salin, who was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make us feel at home during our stay. Will definitely book again.

Service very good, personal are very helpfull, the buffet breakfest and diner could be better. Waterslides are alot of fun. The hotel is very good. Rooms are great, clean and great house keeping. The monday fontein show didnt start at 21. So we went away after 1 hour wait.

“You’re all sick because you’re English”!!!

1. We arrived at the hotel and was met by a drunk couple fighting at the entrance. There was no security or staff attempting to calm it down so our 4 and 6 year old boys were exposed to the shouting and swearing. 2. When I got to the check in desk a gentleman push in front of me and started shouting, demanding to see the manager. He said his valuables in his room had been taken and then turned to me and said this is a terrible hotel, do not stay here. During our stay we witness a number of people shouting at guest services saying their stuff had been taken. 3. Once checked in, the staff told us to go to guest services and get out wrist bands. We received no information about the hotel or the facilities. Their English was poor so they didn't attempt to offer additional help. 4. The room was very basic and was still being made when we walked in at 6pm! The beds provided for the kids was so hard they might as well have slept on the floor. 5. The all inclusive package gets you access to one buffet restaurant which isn't great at all, especially for the kids. The other restaurants cost an absolute fortune. For example a bottle of water cost £8!!! 6. When we visited the water park the next day, we couldn't get any food or drinks, we were finally advised that it wasn't included and that we need to add money to our band to buy food and drink. It was only at the end of the day that we found out there was another buffet style restaurant at the back of the park that was included. Again, the food was horrible. All daytime stacks outside these areas cost money, they also refused to let us take bottles of water outside the area. 7. The theme park isn't much better, if your child is under 1.2m they have a handful of old shabby rides to go on, my 4 year old tried to go on 3 rides and everyone of them broke down leaving him in tears. 8. After a couple of days, we were advised that we could go to the Rixos Premium which is the only reason we didn't leave the hotel. It was a massive upgrade to the land of legends, there is no pool within the Land of Legends, it's a 10 min walk to get there which is far from ideal when you have young kids is 35 degree heat. 9. We asked our TUI rep to transfer us because our kids weren't eating and we were having a terrible experience. He said he couldn't do anything, the hotel has to write to TUI reservations and they would make the arrangements with the hotel. 3 days passed and there was nothing!!! 10. We then all got seriously ill with vomiting and diarrhea, initially we thought this was food poising but after my kids and my wife got it clearly it was more like Norovirus. Again we reported this to TUI and to guest services. My wife spoke to Alica at Guest Service (a manager), She told my wife it's probably because we're English and are not used to the heat!!!! 11. After we were all stuck in the room sick, we again asked them to send us to the Rixos so we could at least lay down outside so our two kids weren’t stuck inside. She did nothing about it apart from say someone will contact us. NO one called, emailed or messaged despite my constant reminders. 12. We asked Alica if there had been any other reported illness at the hotel and she said no. This was a complete lie, Refer to "Samantha W" review on trip adviser where says her family were also sick and the hotel knew about it. There’s no order within the hotel, in the basement area kids were let loose to boot basketballs around the arcade. Our two young kids obviously couldn’t play the games as a result. Do not stay at this hotel, everything from start to finish was horrible!!!! Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at.
