Dear Cecily97 Thanks for staying and thanks for your feedback. We acknowledge that the hotel is older and is now ready for an upgrade - the good news being that the owners of the Hotel are working on these plans having almost finished refurbishing Novotel Suva – which is now looking fantastic. This work is likely to see some areas totally rebuilt and others totally refurbished which is very exciting and will no doubt have a huge impact on our guests sentiment about our classic hotel. It is disappointing to hear that the room you were in had some maintenance issues - since starting at the hotel about 6 weeks ago I have been getting the team to focus on the areas that we can control - cleanliness and maintenance of day to day items. Where possible they have been doing this so its a shame that these items have not been done yet – I have forwarded your comments on to the team for them to prioritise getting them fixed. We apologise that the hotel was not as we would want it to be for our guests but as mentioned your comments will be shared and will be actioned on to ensure we deal with the issues raised. We do hope that you had an enjoyable trip to Fiji and that at some stage in the future you may come back to see the results of the efforts we are making now. Regards Jim Moore General Manager

Bula, and thank you for your feedback. I would like to convey my most sincere apologies that your stay was not as expected and you were dissatisfied with your stay experience. It is obvious from your feedback that the hotel's usual high service standards were not met. I can assure you that the hotel prides itself on its level of service, and to hear that we have fallen short on this occasion is very disappointing. Our Food and Beverage Manager has been notified of the concerns highlighted with the absolute desire to eliminate such experiences and to promote and deliver positive guest stay experiences.
