We genuinely appreciate your continued patronage of Fiji over the years and regret that your stay with us did not meet your expectations on this occasion. At Mercure Nadi, we are committed to delivering a consistently high standard of service and hospitality reflective of both the Accor brand and the warmth for which Fiji is renowned. We sincerely regret that your experience fell short of this and would like to respectfully address some of the concerns you have raised. We were pleased to note your appreciation for the spaciousness and cleanliness of your room. While we acknowledge your observation regarding certain fittings and amenities, please be assured that ongoing maintenance and property enhancements are part of our operational priorities, and refurbishment efforts are strategically scheduled so as to minimise disruption to our guests. With respect to service, we are disappointed to learn that your interactions did not reflect the high standards of attentiveness and professionalism we strive to uphold. While it is encouraging that the friendly Fijian spirit was still apparent, we understand how essential it is that this is accompanied by consistently helpful and proactive service. We will take your feedback constructively and use it to reinforce training and performance oversight across all departments. It is also important to note that our team members work diligently under the direction of a dedicated and experienced Management team. While we acknowledge that every guest’s perception is valid, we would respectfully clarify that many guests consistently commend our staff and leadership for their dedication and hospitality. Nevertheless, your experience will be used as an opportunity to further strengthen our internal practices and service delivery. Regarding breakfast, while we offer a complimentary continental selection in line with the brand standard and pricing structure, we continuously review our offerings to ensure they meet evolving guest expectations. Your comments in this regard have been duly noted. Lastly, we appreciate your remarks concerning the condition of certain outdoor facilities. As with all hospitality venues, periodic wear is inevitable, particularly in tropical climates, and our refurbishment plans are phased accordingly to ensure quality improvement without compromising affordability. We regret that your first visit with us did not align with the positive experiences you have had elsewhere in Fiji. We are delighted that you found our team welcoming and accommodating, especially with your early check-in request. It is also wonderful to know that you enjoyed your meals and breakfast offerings, and found the hotel grounds well maintained. We would, however, like to extend our sincere apologies for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay. We understand your concerns regarding the dated condition of your room and the limited view, and we are actively reviewing plans for future refurbishments to enhance the guest experience. Additionally, we appreciate your comment regarding the condition of the decking, and this is something we are currently working on to improve.
