The staff were extremely helpful, personable and hospitable. My stay was great!

Not a good experience which started when we checked in after midnight on the first day of our stay which started with our luggage not arriving in Capetown that night.

The hotel was nice, but we went three nights a. corresponding days with no air conditioning in our room. When we first checked in I mentioned this to the staff a. was told to give it some time. The next morning it was clearly not working a. I told the staff again a. reduced the desired temperature. It still wasn't working a. I told the staff. They sent people up to fix the air conditioning a. we were told it was fixed. We heard a loud noise at 11 pm, but couldn't find anything that fell. We fell asleep at 11:15 pm a. were woken by a loud noise. We fell asleep again a. were woken by a loud noise again at 11:30 pm. I went downstairs a. was told that we could sleep in a different room. We did not think this was a valid alternative a. I told the staff we were going to turn the breaker off for the air conditioner so it would not run a. make these noises. They fixed the air conditioning properly on the fourth day of our stay. This is ridiculous for a highly rated hotel.

Enjoyed every detail of our stay!! Room, staff, food all awesome!!

It was such a comfort after our long flight from Chicago to have a hotel that not only attended to our every need, but anticipated it! Every detail was taken care of and staff was very professional and delightful. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in CapeTown!

Overpriced, by a long way. Lack of discernible management. Far too many untrained staff and a few that have no right to be in customer facing roles. Chaotic and unsupervised breakfast service.
