Please be mindful that there are two hotels Ibis styles Ginza and the other called Ginza East. This hotel is conveniently located just behind the main luxury shopping street in Tokyo. What a fun neighborhood to stay in! The reception was very nice and the place was very clean. I would stay there again.

Good for a short stay

This hotel is well located in a quiet area. The staff are polite and helpful when you need it. Like most of Japan rooms are small but clean and the size here is OK (bigger than a lot in this price range). Water is hot and rooms have the usual inclusions, including a hair straightener for the girls. The beds like most of Asia are hard so a sore back is expected if you're used to a medium or soft bed. The one hate I have is that there is a night (bright) light that comes on when you go to the toilet, so you will probably wake your partner or be woken by it. The hotel and an Onsen on the 11th floor, but if you use it expect people to come in and just have a look. I found a bit creepy, considering the bath area is a no cloths area. There is also free icecream and a microwave on the 11th floor along with 2 washing machines (Y330) and 2 dryers (Y100 = 30mins), hot and cold water (with cups) and a drinks machine. 11th floor was a big plus. Accor members can get free soft drink and coffee in the restaurant in the evening till 10pm. My room 407 had a aircon issue. The aircon would change itself from hot to cold during the night, made it uncomfortable and I heard another traveler being told that the hotel was full, so I didn't ask for another room. The hotel is about a 10min walk to most train stations and the are a few places to eat in the area or just get a ready made meal from 7/11, Lawson's or FamilyMart and heat them up on the 11th floor. The meals from the convenience stores are cheap and very good. I wish all convenience stores did these meals. If this was helpful please give me a Thumbs up below.

The good . The room was good but small, no issues there which is what you’d expect in Tokyo. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice and clean. Breakfast was ok, some western for and Japanese which was a nice blend. The bad We were on the front street side of the hotel, there were renovations in the building across the road and we had a compressor and power tools running all night. Despite asking for a quiet room we had quite a noisy stay. But still ok given that this is in the middle of a large city with millions of people. The ugly Whilst the staff were generally helpful they need to be better trained. On arrival in the hotel two days before we left I asked how the luggage transfer service works. I was told to bring the bag down on the morning we left and it would ‘be fine’ I double checked and did some research and it seems that it took two days to send the bag to our next destination. So I asked again the day before we left - again no, it will be ok. On the morning we left I dutifully filled out the forms and went downstairs only to be told by the trainee on duty that it takes two days. Long story short we had to go to the transport company office around the corner - turn right out of the hotel, first left and two blocks down on the left. And yes, it does take two days. Accor hotels in general have been taking a slide recently and this will be my last stay at one of them going forward. We were due to come back at the end of the holiday but have cancelled the stay.

Amazing hotel in one of the best areas in Tokyo. Staff was so so so kind and professional. Room was bigger than expected and it even came with a little bathtub! There's complimentary coffee in the lobby and also a washer/dryer machine. There's like a thousand places to go eat around the hotel and many convenience stores as well. Subway station is super close. Overall a great experience, 10/10.

This is another gem. Great location, not a sound heard, beds are firm with good sheets and pillows. Bathroom really well designed w good shampoo, etc. even has a clothes line. Laundry room! Complimentary amenities available. Staff are super helpful and lively. Next time we’re in Tokyo - I will choose Ibis Styles Ginza. Arigato.
