Room clean and comfortable bed , door heavy to open ( fire door I guess , we had privilege room on level 4 with great views of sea front , lifts to rooms , car park holds around 30-40 cars we were lucky both days which cost £15 a day , there is a mutu story car park not far away £9 24 hours , restaurant food very limited and pricey and small portions , over at peir first chippy on right on pier large fish and chips eat inside are Hugh portions neither of us managed to finish ours and they tasted fantastic, breakfast at hotel was good and there's a nice selection apart from some strange reason hash browns you have to ask for at bar , there was some loud music coming from bar next door on both nights

Not a 4 star hotel, certainly not 4 star service, room not made up until 6.30 yesterday, 4.45 today. Wife has medical equipment in room and we asked electronically and at check in for the electricity not to be stopped in the room, despite this the card was still pulled out. Asked for the bedding to be renewed as had a small medicine spill, again not done. Ignored at the bar on several occasions and other people served first, no gas in any of the patio heaters, several drinks like honey rum and malibu out of stock despite being on the drinks menu. Standard has dropped from last year, hotel now hosting coach tour buses and staff struggling to cope.

What a fabulous place to stay! We stayed for two nights on mini break and we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were very accommodating and polite A special thank you to Kirsti and John for making our stay extra special. The room was to a high standard and we had great visitors over the beaches and exceptional panoramic veiw. Would definitely stay here again.

We went as a family of 3. Stayed 2 nights. Location was good but had difficulty parking as all the spaces at the hotel were gone. We had to park in a back alley of the hotel and paid £15 for this. Room was nice but a bit dusty. Breakfast was disappointing for a 4 star hotel and the price we paid for this booking. Staff seemed stressed and disorganised. Buffet was minimal. Counter was messy for example the beans and eggs were all messy and no one was keeping on top of the cleanliness. You had to order vegetarian sausages, hash browns and poached/ fried eggs separately -this just causes more hassle. Coffee machine kept breaking down and staff had to re set it. Was a nice setting overlooking the beach. We were disappointed as it could have been so much better. Room was not made over until very late in the afternoon. We had to call reception to ask them to make over the room at 5pm. We were disappointed with the clean a d had to ask for more loo roll and towels as they had not been replenished. Disappointed with the stay as we paid a lot for the room. On check out we heard that they had long stay guests staying at the hotel.
