位置好，房间好，26号中午退房时有一个前台高个黑头发女生服务特别好，看我在前台坐着还给我装了水和牛奶，很热清地帮我寄存行李，还说我有什么需求都可以找她。

As Ibis Hotels have it own standards of rooms, we have expected it in this hotel too. But this one is really old fashioned and very-very basic, however our room was always clean. It's convinient to stay only for a couple of days. As for check-incheck-out, it's very simple and fast. You can easily do it at the self-desk. Location is perfect! Hotel is located in the center, close to the main attractions which can be reached on foot. There is no soundproofing between the room and the corridor, so at night I would wake up from any knocking on the neighboring doors or from slamming doors. Breakfast was various and tasty.

Overall, not great.

Not a very comfortable experience. A weird 'self'service' check-in. A human helped anyway so why not just have a human do it? Communal touch screens are unhygienic. Beds are lumpy, not hotel quality. The lights in the room are connected to the bathroom light, so one person cannot try to sleep if the other is still in the bathroom. There are no healthy/alternative diet breakfast opions such as muesli or just eggs. The only redeeming feature is the Mee So restaurant for dinner which is great!

I have stayed at this hotel previously and gave it 3* at the time. A couple of months ago I decided to give it another try, mainly because Sydney hotel prices were through the roof at the time, and this place was relatively affordable. I should have spent the extra $$ and stayed elsewhere. Some things were just as poor as a couple of years ago - for example, the bed was very uncomfortable and the AC system noisy. But some things got even worse since my previous stay, especially the cleaning standards. Found a long black hair in the tea-making area - definitely not mine. Do the staff not bother cleaning the rooms between guests? I also made the mistake of sitting in the chair in the room wearing only my underwear (no trousers). A mistake it was, I ended up with serious inflammation on both thighs that was consistent with dust mites. Never, ever had this in any hotel before; this seriously makes me question their hygiene standards. There will definitely be no third try, I'm done with this hotel.
