The location of this venue was perfect for us. We came off the train from Melbourne and it was a short walk from the station. We were able to check in early fortunately. Staff were very pleasant. The rooms are tired but the bed was so comfortable - I slept so well for 3 nights. Carpets need replacing. Room 1212 looked on to a building - no views. Corridor noise was quite prominent. Hotel bar / restaurant downstairs offered happy hour which we utilised.

As Ibis Hotels have it own standards of rooms, we have expected it in this hotel too. But this one is really old fashioned and very-very basic, however our room was always clean. It's convinient to stay only for a couple of days. As for check-incheck-out, it's very simple and fast. You can easily do it at the self-desk. Location is perfect! Hotel is located in the center, close to the main attractions which can be reached on foot. There is no soundproofing between the room and the corridor, so at night I would wake up from any knocking on the neighboring doors or from slamming doors. Breakfast was various and tasty.
