There really should be a zero rating as I feel that 1 star is way too many for this establishment. 2 night stay which was booked by my company through a third party provider. I had an email confirmation with a number for a paid stay and had to prove that I was the person in the booking as my last name hadn’t been used. Very tired and if it has been renovated in the last 10 years, it was certainly a waste of money. Room hadn’t been cleaned prior to my stay as evidenced by the tissues on the floor under the bed. Room serviced on second day and still there. Coffee, sugar and milk not replenished and cup just rinsed and placed on sink. Unfortunately for me there is a very good chance that they will book the same place for my next visit to the Sydney office.

Dreadful hotel. WiFi doesn’t work - couldn’t do any work here. Hardly any staff so you can never find anyone .

Really awful. Staff (when you could eventually find them) were polite but they seem very overworked. I had hoped to do some work, but the wi fi didn’t work AT ALL. Had thought that I was just unlucky when it didn’t work the first day, but it was the same the next time. Staff couldn’t help.

We booked this hotel as a base to visit relatives nearby. We had been concerned on reading the reviews before arrival we needn’t have been. Whilst unsure about benefits of using self check in a member of staff from reception was quick to assist us and all was well. Our room was clean and comfortable, we had to ask for extra pillows on both visits. There was a kettle and coffee machine and supplies were replenished, also a microwave and crockery. The bathroom had an excellent shower and the toiletries provided were of a very good quality. We used the Workers Club adjoining on several occasions and it was an added bonus to find that it was there. The reception staff were helpful and courteous. We had breakfast included in our booking but often was very busy with groups and with staff doing their best to replenish. If we had been paying extra I feel it could be viewed as expensive for what was available. Overall a great experience and will not hesitate to use again.

Fair stay for the price. We paid just over $400 for 2 nights, with a pull out sofa bed for our 12 year old. Pro’s: - bedding was clean, which honestly is most important thing to me. If the bedding is clean and the toilet is clean, I’m good. - Google chrome for tv’s so you can stream from your phone to the tv - McDonald’s right next door - free parking - free wifi - good aircon Cons: - was a pubic hair on the tiles in the bathroom when we got there… that freaked me out. - wifi is isn’t the best. The girls couldn’t really use it on their iPads, even though we could stream our shows. - husband and daughter had the buffet breakfast and said it wasn’t worth it - only one pillow for each guest, and two towels even though there were three of us Overall, would stay again. It was convenient for our trip to Raging Waters and good value for money.

Dot points for review. I wrote a 4-page complaint to the Accor Group about the motel. Too big for a review, here are the dot points. Let the photos show the recent renovations Hmmm? DO NOT STAY. • Supposedly recently renovated. (Was closed for many months. Previously a Travelodge which was much better) • It is rated as a 4 star – NO WAY 2 ½ to 3 at the very best • Cracked bathroom tiles • Disgustingly dirty floors, walls and taps • Dirty cups and spoons (beware!) – check them out first • Unimaginable poor Customer Service, if you can call it that • $5 credit card fee – there is NO option to pay cash. • Hot water tap turned to full for 3 minutes to get luke warm water at very low pressure, no need to turn on the cold tap. • No where to place toiletries There is a positive, there is a Club attached to the Motel with good food at reasonable prices.
