From the moment you arrive till the moment you check-out, the service is impeccable. One of the best locations in Almaty. Amazing and fantastic facilities, the spa and pool areas are fabulous as is the gym. For the food, wow! the breakfast has many options and many different options to choose from, the restaurants offer a fantastic selection of food for lunch or dinner. Super clean rooms well presented. I tried to find any small issues but honestly, could not fault the hotel or its staff. Special thanks to Mr. Ozgur, Zarina and Aivaz who always were helpful and welcoming. This will become my usual place to stay when visiting Almaty, if it is for work or personal visits.

Luxury property - Lacking aplenty - Not worth staying again.

This is a luxury resort - however as the name suggests it is a wellness resort - meaning it is meant for some treatments. The bathrooms have various handles/stands that are meant to assist the sick/ elderly - which feels strange for normal guests. The Hill view room was not worth the tariff. We were given the room right at the end which does not have a great view. The rooms further down would have a better view. There were constant noise from room above which was a pain- even after complaining, the hotel staff did nothing to assist. The dining area is a vast with amazing options for breakfast - however menu is extremely limited for south Asian travelers. Their burgers were excellent though. The staff were attentive but did not do much to go beyond to assist. Overall a disappointing stay - would not want to stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Swissotel in Almaty. The grounds are beautiful, rooms are spacious and the views of the mountains take your breath away. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly and always introduced themselves. The staff in the Kazakh restaurant were particularly great, explaining in detail all of the dishes and making recommendations. I also had an excellent facial at the spa and felt very comfortable and welcome throughout my stay.

I adored the Bedroom. Everyone I would wake up inspired by the extravagant views of the Almaty Mountains—the treasure of Kazakhstan. The food was good. I want to express my gratitude as the experience has strengthened my bonds because good environments create good discussions.

Worst hotel experience

We have had our worst experience in this hotel. The staff is very in cooperative. We were a group of three couples and had an early morning flight and arrived at the hotel early morning. We requested the hotel staff to give us rooms earlier even if on charges. We were told that the hotel is fully booked and the as per the hotel policy, we will get the room only at 3.00 pm. We had travelled the whole night and were exhausted. The hotel allotted rooms to guests who arrived after us but did not give us early check in. The hotel has been very rude and cannot be considered for a comfortable stay. They gave us one room at 11.00 pm between six people and charged us US$ 161 which is their regular tariff for one day. The hotel allotted rooms to other guests who arrived much later than us but did not allot the room to us. They charged us separately for breakfast even after charging us for the one room whereas the breakfast should have been included in the extra charges. I have travelled to number of places almost all over the world but this is my worst hotel experience. So much so that the reception staff snubbed us and stopped taking our calls for room request. HOTEL NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

We would like to remind you that the standard check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Unfortunately, early check-in is not possible when the hotel is fully booked. However, in your case, we did our best and were able to accommodate you at 9:48 AM, 1:58 PM, and 2:44 PM. Regarding breakfast, it was not included in your initial booking, which is why the restaurant required additional payment for each guest. As for the early check-in of other guests, they may have booked a different room category, and their rooms could have been ready earlier. We always strive to ensure maximum comfort for our valued guests and apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. We hope the remainder of your stay will be pleasant!
