The Swissotel Almaty is an absolutely beautiful hotel. Located in a park like setting it is incredibly serene. The rooms are good sized and have balconies with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Spa and gym are great.

From the moment we entered Swissôtel, we were greeted with lush greenery, warm hospitality, and impeccable luxury. A free upgrade to a deluxe panoramic room was a wonderful surprise. The property is spotless, modern, and full of world-class facilities — spa, pools, gym, restaurants — plus a fun golf cart campus tour. Due to the city’s summer heat, we enjoyed the resort more than sightseeing. Special thanks to the Swissôtel team for making our stay so comfortable. If you want a luxury getaway in Almaty, this is the place to be.

This is an amazing hotel in an even better soundings. Great service with super friendly staff. Large clean rooms. Spa facilities are good. We had a number of different treatments and all super. Everything is very reasonable priced too It know might not be an obvious choice for both in Middle East or Europe… until you have visited. We have never been here before but is definitely coming back.

Amazing Resort But a Poor Reservation & Check-In Experience

The resort has probably the best location in Almaty if you want to be surrounded by nature, in a relaxing & luxurious environment. It’s also a very huge property with large expanse of gardens, forest area, and a beautiful lake, things that can help you immerse in the beauty of the place. The view of the snow-capped mountains adds to the charm. We spent four days but still wanted to explore more at the property because it’s got so much to do. However, a major low was the reservation experience. We booked through a third-party website and shared our booking vouchers a week in advance with their reservation team which they acknowledged. Yet, upon checking in, we were told that they can’t trace our booking in the system and were made to wait for 30-40 Mins. They eventually allowed us to check-in only after reserving a full-day’s charges with our credit card in case the booking was not confirmed later by their reservation team. They confirmed our reservation late in the evening, and refunded 50% of the amount, keeping the other 50% as fee for early check-in since we arrived at 6 AM in the morning. The same happened at breakfast the next day - they couldn’t see in their system that we had breakfast included in the stay, which actually was included and paid for. I really thought that they would refund the 50% for early check-in to compensate for this uncomfortable experience during the first two days but they just provided us with a complementary fruit tray and some sweets, seemingly to make up for this check-in mess. Nevertheless, the hotel is absolutely worth staying at because their location + staff are all amazing and warm.

Nice hotel with nice pools and mountain view

Location : A bit far from city center and nothing to see or do around the hotel Check In : Normal check in, not really feel the warm welcome from the front desk. No smile at all. The room : Nice room with Balcony and mountain view. The bath room is so big and spacious but no bath tub The facilities : Very nice pools indoor and outdoor. My children enjoy so much. Dinner at quarter restaurant : The staff that served us very polite and warm. The food are delicious. Breakfast : Not so much hot food variation but they serve ostrich egg
