I arrived at the hotel at around 14:15. Upon entering, I asked the staff whether there was a dedicated check-in desk for Diamond status members of the ALL loyalty programme. To my surprise, I was told that there was no such priority check-in desk. As there was a queue of guests waiting to check in, I had to wait for about 30 minutes. After those 30 minutes, a member of staff approached me and asked how I was doing. I explained my situation — that I had a meeting in the city centre in an hour and a half, and therefore needed to check in as quickly as possible, change clothes, and head to my meeting. He asked what type of room I had booked and then informed me that check-in for my room category was carried out on the 6th floor. This meant that I had wasted 30 minutes in the reception queue for no reason. I was then escorted to the 6th floor for registration, but it turned out there was also a queue there, in which I spent another 15 minutes. After processing the payment, the hotel employee informed me that my room was not ready and that I would have to wait. I should note that I waited around 15 minutes, during which guests who had arrived after me were already being shown to their rooms. Apparently, mine was the only room that was not ready, despite the official check-in time of 15:00 having already passed. After I explained to yet another member of staff that I was now late for my business meeting, he told me he would give me a different room instead of the one that was still not ready. I took the key and made my own way to the room, as I simply didn’t have time to wait for the butler who, according to the staff, would otherwise escort me there. When I reached the 4th floor and stepped out of the lift, I found myself in a haze caused by construction works with a hammer drill, along with the strong smell of paint. Upon entering the room, I realised I could not stay there even for an hour. The room was filled with a strong smell of fresh paint and dust from drilling. In the end, realising I was already late for my meeting, I went straight there wearing the same T-shirt I had travelled in for 9 hours on the plane. For that, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the hotel — you truly made my day unforgettable. It is obvious that I will never stay at this hotel again. Fortunately, Dubai has an excellent selection of hotels.

Foi tudo perfeito, ficamos na suíte com Jacuzzi e cada detalhe do hotel é maravilhoso. A Jane housekeeping foi ótima e muito simpática. Aliás, todos os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e estavam sempre a disposição. Já é a nossa segunda vez no hotel e voltaremos sempre. Amamos a nossa suíte linda, curtimos cada detalhe.
