Las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y la cama es magnífica. La disposición de los baños muy cómoda también. La única pega es si quieres trabajar en la habitación. La mesa no sirve para comer ni para trabajar.

Don't stay here, the hotel doesn't have heat. You heard me correctly, no heat. The rooms do not have a heat control because the building is old. There is a panel on the wall, but it only has air conditioning. I called and asked how to turn on the heat, they told me to turn it off. They did not explain that there is no heat possible and we froze. I had asked why after I raise the temperature it does not increase, but never was I explained it is not possible. At night in Seoul the temperature reduces down to 4 degrees. There is no floor heating either. When I explained we are cold, the staff said, "we asked the other guests and they are hot." There is no way the hotel staff went to ask other guests about the temperature. When I went down to the front desk in person to try and rectify the situation, the male representative kept rolling his eyes and interrupting me when I said that the room has no heater saying " yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" and mocking myself and my daughter when we said we were cold. He said it's not cold, the heater is not broken. Maybe not broken, but you cannot turn it on. What is the real difference, if it doesn't exist? The hotel itself is trendy and newly refurbished, (but inside an old building). It is easily not accessible by taxi. You need to try for an hour to confirm a taxi. The check in process was terrible. I went to check in and they said the room only is for one person. I said no, two people. The check in took over an hour (no other people in line) and three people, escalating to three managers to have them accept two people in the room. The first representative just left and did not come back. I said I can pay more if that is what they are asking for, because we were tired from traveling. Although I believe that two people in a room is standard. We went to have breakfast at Cleo. I had spent all morning over 7 calls and 2 hours trying to turn on the heat, but it took 7 calls and one two meetings in person to discover there is no heat possible. I was late to my meeting. I asked for a take out box, and was told cannot, so I asked another person in the restaurant, I explained that have takeout from the app coupang, so I can pay for the take out box. They said no. I didn't want to leave without giving my daughter food, so I had to go upstairs to floor 2 and ask the front desk in person for a take out box. The staff then had to ask two managers, at this point I had missed my meeting. We went back down to the restaurant and they had to go find a legal form and made me sign a legal form about the food. When she gave me the box she said "never again". Sounded unnecessary aggressive for a take out box for my daughter's breakfast. We sat in the restaurant and she was eating her food. It was 920 am, the waiter asked my daughter to stop eating and leave. I was tired of the whole morning's unsolved problems so we did in fact leave, even though there was no reason to ask my daughter to stop eating and leave. The next day, I asked for water in person at the front desk at 945 am. It never arrived, I called again at 11, it never arrived, I called again at 12. The water took over 2 hours and three attempts to obtain water. I even went down and offered to pick up the water in person, but they would not. The room itself is very small. It has no desk. The shower door will open into you, two people cannot be in the bathroom area, as it is a tiny area. (The American breakfast for 32$ USD is not good. They don't know how to cook eggs, first day they were hard boiled. The ice coffee they give you is in a tiny glass beaker.) We stayed in 7 hotels while in Seoul all over 1 week each stay, the Mondrian itaewon was unfortunately a shockingly stressful, difficult, disappointing, and exhausting experience. The Seoul dragon residence Yongsan by contrast was delightful.

Perfect hotel for a perfect stay

5 stars for every category, hands down! Housekeeping does an excellent job, it is so clean everywhere from the lobby, to the gym, to the rooms. Excellent gym by the way, they have a great variety of equipment. Location for public transportation might be a 5 to 6 minute walk depending on which bus you’re catching. Each reservation allows one car parking so have the license plate ready. Concierge was very accommodating. The outdoor pool is nice but the cover charge is not justified in my opinion.
