had a great experience with Mercure Vung Tau. Warm welcome and good service from the reception, especially Thien who was very enthusiastic in supporting us. The hotel has both sea and mountain view rooms and I rate it as one of the areas where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset in Vung Tau. The food is good and the service is fast. There will be live music on weekends so it will be very chill. I had a good time with my family.

I had absolutely an amazing stay! All the staff were very friendly, helpful, polite,… They went above and beyond to everything I needed even when when they were so so busy especially Ms Chi, Le and Phung and Mr Dat at night shift. I appreciate it a lot. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable. The housekeeping did a great job. Thank you! The view from the restaurant is incredible. Would be back and stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities.The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of options. I especially enjoyed the pool area, which was well-maintained and relaxing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Attention, Viet Kieu (Vietnamese from abroad, especially the US). I came across a charming boutique hotel by the sea online and decided to book two rooms for four people (two per room) for one night in Vung Tau during our trip back to Vietnam. I paid a total of $170 for the two rooms. Everything seemed fine until we arrived and checked in. The moment we presented our US passports, things went awry. First, they informed us that the rooms we booked were not by the sea but across the street on a hill—a detail we were unaware of. To upgrade to sea-view rooms, they demanded an additional $100 per room. Are you serious? We decided to stick with our original booking since we were only staying one night and had already paid. But it didn’t stop there. When we declined the upgrade, they tried another trick. They claimed that our booking was for single occupancy per room, and if we wanted to have two people per room, we would need to pay extra. Who the F books a room for one person when there are four of us? And btw, our room each comes with a queen sized bed, what do you mean only one person can stay in a room? By now, we told them forget about everything, we're no longer want to stay here. We left and book another hotel down the road the Imperial, a much better hotel with a much better deal and most importantly, they're honest from the get go. So my only advice, STAY AWAY!!!!!

I would like to clarify that all of our rooms on the hillside are noted with *across street* and your rooms booked were *Standard room, Hillside (Across Street)* and there were literally no picture displayed the sea view for this room type. On Agoda, we advertise each room type with the most accurate pictures displayed. Only Deluxe & Executive rooms possibly & most of them have the sea view those belong to the beachside. Due to these room are the higher room category of your original room booked, the team offered you with the surcharges for the room upgrade. We take note of your feedback with regards to our pricing policy and the difference of persons/rate is to allow flexibility to our guest which further allows a benefit of the rate for 1 person vs 2 while booking. Hope we were able to clarify your concern in this regard. Lastly, we hope above explanation would satisfy with you concerns and we truly look forward to welcoming you in the futures. nice hotel with beach location. the staff were very friendly. I have been well welcomed by all the staff. reception did a good job on arrange our rooms which meet my request. breakfast buffet was amazing even there were not many options. Of course, quality comes first, not quantity. We will be back
