We needed somewhere to stop overnight and for a good nights sleep. Room was very comfortable and quiet and clean. Hotel is a little dated but no complaints. I had hoped for more food options on the harbour however they were limited. The restaurant in the hotel was good however under pressure as they were also hosting a wedding. I should have done a little more research as the hotel was further off the highway i.e. beyond the Mackay town centre and the city is reasonably well spread. Bed was comfy and we enjoyed the quiet.

The view of the harbour is breath taking. Latitude breakfast and dinner menu lovely. We had pancakes and Canadian syrup with bacon and my husband had eggs bacon on toast and it was quite nice but no sausages in the menu. Dinner was great and we had the same meal of seafood linguini followed by desserts. Husband had the rich chocolate decadence and I forgot what I had but I did put a photo of mine . They do need to put an extra lounge in the room 6005. Just one large tub chair. A mini bar would be extra good but there was none. Bedding was clean crisp and the mattress was a bit hard for my liking but overall I slept in which was lovely.

Friendly service, clean and spacious room, delicious food (and enormous servings!). My only gripe is that the gym wasn't open early or late enough to be able to utilise it with my long working hours. Please consider opening the gym at 4am and closing at 10pm.

We were there for sailing event and the staff were very helpful and friendly to everyone arriving at all times. We had a 1 bedroom suite and it was large and clean with a separate lounge room, 2 TVs, and best of all fabulous views over the marina. The room had a self contained kitchen and dishwasher, a laundry ( perfect for wet sailing gear!). It is our favorite place to stay in Mackay, we will be back soon.

Was well received, even when received by a new starter at the bar I was extremely tired (always pleasant) after 5-hour drive wanting a beer I would have been her first customer great guidance from her fellow team member looked like front and back of house team members, made it extremely refreshing to watch transaction went smoothly a sign of a great team ethic!
