Hotel was friendly at checkin, allowing early access to our booked room. We booked one privilege and one classic. Rooms were clean but the pungent smell of sewage coming from the shower during the night in the privilege room did ruin the stay. It was suggested by customer service on complaint that we could have contacted the front desk but the smell did not fully hit until late in the night and with a sleeping baby we did not want to disturb her. Food was absolutely delicious in the restaurant and service great. Facilities looked good in the hotel but I would not say it’s that close to the train station. I would not want to walk it with luggage. (We grabbed a taxi) onsite staff were friendly and we felt welcomed. Our biggest complaint is on leaving the hotel. We left in a hurry through no fault of the hotel so did not check the invoice that had been charged to a holding card. Once home we noted we had been overcharged for breakfast. Only one adult from a party of 4 ate and this was because reception suggested it was free with the privilege room. Trying to liaise with the customer service team has been tiring and frustrating! They are completely ignoring any emails sent following an initial reply. Such a shame that they don’t want to resolve any issues once you have left the hotel. I’m sure I will get a generic response about them being there to help with any complaints but this is definitely not true.

We are also sorry that a disturbing odour appeared during the night, but understand that you did not call us to assist you, so as not to awake the baby. This beautiful, friendly hotel is just 10 minutes walk away from the train station. You are kindly welcomed by the reception. The hotel is utterly overall clean. We reserved a suite on the top floor. The suite had an enormous balcony with a beautiful view. The pool area is calm and really clean. Towels for pool are also provided at the reception. The restaurant and bar were superb. The single drawback was the breakfast. It was far beyond a 4 Star luxurious hotel. Although the breakfast was not ldeal, I give definitely 5 stars to this nice hotel. And we regret booking just two nights there. We should have stayed at least two more nights.

An exceptional hotel in every way. The style of bedroom may not suit everyone but besides being very comfortable we found the modern open-plan arrangement extremely refreshing. However, during the day we were unable to make the room as warm as we wished. The level of service provided by staff was truly exceptional, particularly on arrival, during the evening meal and at breakfast. The attention given by Stephane in the breakfast area was outstanding - the huge range of exceptional food on offer was made so much more enjoyable as a result of his guided tour ! The hotel is almost brand new and suggests that Mercure is set to become a market leader - and all at a very competitive price. We will return.

Stylish New Rooms in a Well-Run Hotel

I really liked this hotel. It is evident it is a very well-managed property. All staff I encountered were welcoming and helpful. There was plenty of parking available in the gated lot in front of the hotel. When that lot filled, there was parking at a lot a few steps away. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the tgv station. What really appealed to me were the fresh, stylish and comfortable rooms. My room was so clean - spotless. I don’t toss around “spotless” lightly. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The room was quiet and peaceful. There were wooden floors in the rooms, which I really appreciated for cleanliness and looks. I thought the decor was lovely, sleek and modern yet cozy. The public rooms were also very stylishly and appealingly decorated. The only area that could use a slight improvement would be breakfast. The eggs needed to be replaced more often. But that’s a minor complaint. There were oranges available to make your own fresh juice, plenty of breads/pastries, etc. It got a bit chaotic, evidently the hotel was quite full, so I enjoyed the option of dining on one of the tables outside overlooking the pool. It was Easter weekend and the hotel staff decorated so nicely. I thought that was a lovely touch. I had such a good experience at this Mercure that I find myself looking for Mercures or other brands by Accor when I plan travel. I have yet to find one that matches the quality of this particular Mercure, though.

This would be a perfect place for a traveling sport team. The capsule like rooms are evocative of tv space travel accommodations. The sink and shower are actually in the bedroom. All restaurant amenities are automated, but the coffee delivery system wasn’t working. There’s an attempt to project a cool image, but, frankly, unless there’s a super sale, I’d give this overpriced accommodation a pass.
