Lobby was abit dark but upon entering the rooms floors, it was a contemporary interior. Spacious rooms and toilet. Well equipped toiletries and luxurious branded soaps. Wish they have more hooks in shower room. Nice touch of complimentsry bar drinks. Impeccable and attentive housekeeping service . She was attending to 22nd floor and absolutely caring to our needs. Thank you. Clean and thoughtful. 7mins walk to Jiangupmen station. 4mins aalk to nearby street snacks and Macdonalds. There is also a Lawson nearby before you arrive McD.

Overall, it's a "okay" hotel, but not up to sofitel standard. Location is fine since we take cab all the time, lobby is small, not many seats, executive lounge was shifted from 25th to lobby floor at a pity small corner (6-7 tables only). Services were average.

Special shout out to the wonderful lady staff serving in the executive club lounge, her service was top notch and thankful for her assistance in helping our kids. Sorry i didnt note down her name but thank you very much . Room was huge and clean. enjoyed our 4 night stayed

Worst customer service. Asked the concierge on spa prices at the hotel and he told me to look it up myself. Also asked to help make reservation at a restaurant and call a taxi and they also refused and told us figure it out ourselves! Rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and had shower water was leaking into room. Overall expected much better customer service from top tier hotel. Would not return

The hotel is situated at the city centre, a very convenient location. I stayed 4 nights here and I was satisfied with the hotel service during my stay in particular my room. It was very clean and spacious. I was also impresses by yesterday exceptionally good service of the Chinese restaurant and the Cafe. One point I would like to raise for improvement is the bar which was closed so early at 9:00 p.m. All in all, Sofitel Beijing Central is nice hotel and cost effective.
