Really good and central

Staff were lovely and really helpful. Our travel agent booked the wrong Ibis but this was no issue for them. They rectified the booking and got me checked in. Room was spotless clean and perfect for a two night stay. Breakfast was convenient and just enough for what you need. Again the staff and manageress were lovely and really helpful. A true credit to the hotel. No issues at all with the hotel. Would recommend if visiting Delft.

Convenient, comfortable, responsive to issues

This hotel was next to the train station in Delft and therefore only about two blocks from the old city Center. Our room was clean and spacisous. The first room we stayed in had been set to not cool very well so we asked for it to be checked. Someone came to our room immediately, checked it, and moved us from that room to the room next door where the a/c was working perfectly. We ate breakfast there each day we were there and it was very good. There is also a very reasonable cafe downstairs where our adult children and grandson who were traveling with us and they found the food and coffee there to be excellent so you have two to choose from! We would definitely stay here again for the convenience and comfort. I read about the water in the shower issue and if you are prepared it is not a problem. Go and enjoy beautiful Delft from the comfort of this lodging.

invoice 2792 I have always chosen Ibis hotels because the chain is reliable, however the branch in DELFT is new, and they need to provide the same standard as all the other branches. This means, they need to have proper HEATING and make sure that it works for the guests when they leave the room in the morning and come back at the end of the working day in the evening. Instead, it did not work and I was freezing cold in the morning and at night. One of the people working at the reception gave me a second duvet, and I slept wrapped like a pig in blankets. Second problem, the threashhold of the door is raised, making it a TRIPPING HAZARD. There is no warning that the threashold of the door is raised and I tripped, hurting myself. When I brought my concerns to the front desk they did not put any hazard tape to alert people of the tripping hazard. Luckily, breakfast was very good and the hotel was clean and spotless.
