Dishonesty and terrible customer service

I am absolutely furious with this hotel. It states very clearly on Google maps that it offers free pet friendly stays, this was the only reason I booked it. On checking in I was held to ransom for a £30 pet fee, that's £15 each for the same room! The receptionist first claimed she was the manager and then back peddled. She said she was only the duty manager and had no authority to waive the fee, even though she was produced the evidence of their false claim. She claimed Google maps is not their website, however they are advertising their business on it. According to her it doesn't count and they have no control what Google maps puts! Absolute rubbish every other hotel has pets allowed or not, fees apply, they have FREE expressly written underneath. If it isn't correct that is their fault and responsibility. A chain the size of Accor would have someone who's job it is to ensure correct advertising. What is really appalling is being presented with the evidence they refused to accept it. The correct thing to do is put your hands up waive £30 and get it corrected. For having their error pointed out in the interest of customer relations taking a £30 hit is cheap and the least they should be doing. I could have easily got cheaper hotels that do have a pet fee. Disgusting belligerent attitude to their false advertising and I was told it was my fault for not checking their specific site. Obviously everyone is expected to check every possible website the company could be on before booking! Accor someone hasn't done their job, just put your hands up and sort it. Don't expect customers to pay for your mistakes!

A good location with reasonable access for central London. A pleasant atmosphere with a bijoux and friendly bar area. We found the Hotel to be excellent value although we were part if a coach trip. The room was quiet snd we slept well. Great customer service. Good food, we had an early dinner as part of a coach trip so that we could make it in good time for The Abba Experience in London. The room was clean and tidy, just as expected and all the staff were friendly and very helpful, particularly Roxana and Jacklin who oversaw our dining and breakfast experience. Roxana was very professional but also very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Slechtste hotel ooit. Oud en vies. Er is een restaurant maar daar kun je ‘s avonds niet eten. Dus moet naar het ongezellige luidruchtige café. Alleen snack eten en natuurlijk geen wisselgeld. Ook is het betaald parkeren. Het bedrag voor parkeren en hond wordt vervolgens 2 x afgeschreven. Feest met zeer luidruchtig volk. Echt een afrader

La verdad es que aparte de alfombras manchadas, y que el parking es de pago, me sorprendió que si pagas en efectivo hay que dejar una fianza de 50 GBP, y que si no hubiera denegado yo el cargo me lo hubieran cobrado también con la tarjeta visa que se deja como garantia para la estancia. La atención de la recepción muy seca, y por el precio la verdad es que esperaba algo mas del estilo de accor, que da prioridad a la buena atención por parte del personal. Sin duda, no repetiré.

Hotel de paso, perfecto si necesitas quedarte en Londres una noche y coger un vuelo desde el aeropuerto de Stansted, ya que el hotel se encuentra a escasos kilómetros. Cuenta con muchas habitáciones básicas, amplio aparcamiento. Ademas existe cerca un restaurante elegante Carlton&Mill espectacular
