Room was very small which meant you could only just walk round the bed. The walls are thin and you could hear noise from outside the room as well as outside the hotel. The shower tray filled with water while showering so I had to stop mid-shower to let it drain to prevent a flood. The room was hot but the air-conditioning was so noisy with a buzzing, banging noise that I couldn't sleep with it on in any case! Car park is expensive. Service and food were both good. Room 307 I was in.

Booked a suite for two nights. Location near to a family member and about a 30 min walk to city centre. Arrived and was given the first floor suite (only one on each floor). Room was stark and not inviting. View outside was of the huge selection of air conditioning units. Constant drone noise from them too. Asked to be moved and were lucky to be offered the third floor suite. Room far more finished with additional furniture. Fairly clean. Sadly, it was soon evident that the curtains in the bedroom are broken. The rail itself does not hold the hooks properly. As soon as you try to pull them they all fall out. We managed to fix them and left the curtain shut. The air conditioning units were useless. The one in the lounge area did not switch on at all, the bedroom one made such a racket we could not use it. The bathroom sink had a large crack and needed replacing. The bed was comfortable which is probably the only plus thing. We left our room at around 11.30am on our first morning making sure to take off the do not disturb sign. It was disappointing to find our room unmade when we returned at 7pm. When we asked about this we were told “it should have been done”. Not good enough. Had to ask for fresh towels and no offer of a room service although at that time of night it would not have been suitable anyway. Finally, there was an event at the hotel the second night with extremely loud music starting suddenly at 9.45pm. It was that loud that we could tell what each song was even though we were on the third floor! All in all a disappointing service in a hotel clearly struggling to manage the day to day demands effectively.

Wonderful stay. Ate in tattings restaurant - food was exceptional and service from Arjana, Violetta, Misha and Oksana was outstanding. The leisure facilities a great bonus. My room was cosy and comfortable. Perfect location for notts centre

Nice restaurant with great breakfasts and beautiful view. The service is good, Albina served my breakfast. She was friendly and recommended places to see around Nottingham. Would recommend for sure. Highly rated. Will be back one day here.

The noise from inside and outside the hotel has kept me awake the entire night. From people constantly going into each others rooms and banging doors to the occupants in the next door room arguing and having the tv that loud I can hear what they are watching from my room word for word. No telephone in room to ask them to address it so used the online hotel chat service and nothing. Will not be staying here for further work trips again. Only positive was the food was nice although not many options for vegetarians
