The hotel is very well placed for driving into the centre or out to visit places outside Nottingham. There is ample free parking if you are staying there. You have to log in your car details at reception on arrival. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The modern shower had a large overhead, straight down shower head but no hand shower. This was a bit annoying for me as I did not want to get my long hair wet! There was a lot of choice for breakfast and there was a cappuccino, latte etc coffee machine which was very nice. On the whole I recommend the hotel for couples although here were 2 youngish families there at breakfast time. I also liked the Nottingham Lace themed decor throughout the hotel.

I had a brilliant couple of days staying at the Mercure, the food was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms were cosy but comfortable. Particular thanks to the staff, Mykhailo, Dominik, Ariana, Ioanis, Kristina, and Imad for making my stay so enjoyable. Thank you!

I was at this hotel in February super hotel with everything appearance, customer service, all super. What caught my eye was a super customer, a kind and communicative lady named Arjana. A true and very sincere lady. I am very happy with everything there. I suggest you go, you will be satisfied.😍😍

I would like to say a massive Thankyou to the young lady in leisure I think Ashley was her name. I have never met someone so kind as her. I had a disability meaning I couldn’t bend one leg and she went above and beyond and helped me in and out the pool when needed and checked over me constantly to make sure I was okay. When I finished she walked me to the bar where my husband and son was and because they were having a drink she took me to my room which I know isn’t her job but I’m very thankful to have met her. She deserves the most you have got a good young worker you should hire more people like her! I even left her a £10 note At reception as she was so kind but I thought I’d write this review so she gets recognised for her kindness. Thankyou so much Ashley I will definitely come back
