Panchi was a brilliant host, the service and food in the restaurant was great. The rooms were spacious and beds were super comfortable. Stayed 5 nights for work and the location was so convenient for local shops. Highly recommend this hotel and the attached restaurant.

Excellent value for money (two night stay) Staff very welcoming and Panchi in the restaurant was excellent. Food good and reasonably priced. Found hotel well positioned for us to do some shopping and sight seeing without using the car. Thankfully a promotion so avoided the £8 daily parking.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was ok but it’s not a 4* Hotel. Staff i found were not the most welcoming and the room was far too dark and it was cold too. Bathroom had mould on the ceiling. Room was average at best Premier Inn beds are far more comfortable. The issue with the staff was that they just didn’t make you feel very welcome and it felt off putting having too ask them anything. There was no information about anything when checking in. I think some if the staff need retraining in customer service. However the buffet breakfast was very nice if abit expensive at £14.50 each. Would I stop here again ? Only if Premier Inn was fully booked it wouldn’t be my 1st choice.

Expensive, poor facilities, unwelcoming staff

Very poor hotel stay. The room was freezing cold when we arrived as the window had been left open and the window catch was broken. The room was dark with awful lighting. There were only 2 very flat pillows on the double bed and no extra ones anywhere in the room. The shower is a large overhead type and no shower caps available if you were not planning to wash your hair. Very old dirty looking air conditioning unit on the wall for heating and a portable oil radiator with broken wheels. We came in around 10.40pm and asked if it was possible to order drinks from the bar and were made to feel like we were a great inconvenience. Drinks were very expensive. 1 pint of lager and a Gin and lemonade, 2 packets of crisps came to over 20 pound. The room was £90 (breakfast not included) and we were surprised to be charged another 8 for parking. Especially considering how far outside the city the hotel is.

Great hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. Breakfast was very nice. We have no fault with this hotel. One of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. Quiet location. About 3-4 miles from the city centre but £15 for a Uber to the city.
