Currently staying in this hotel, Firstly delay in checking in as under staffed reception desk, staff standing around watching while people queued to check in. As a Diamond member once again no recognition at check in, no thank you for your loyalty, not a single mention. Check in staff had no idea about free breakfast for Accor Diamond member on weekends , wanted to charge me. Further had no idea how much to charge me considering I was using some points , I had to show her the booking on my phone which provided the breakdown of what I actually had to pay. No welcome card or gift in room, absolutely nothing. Once again another example of poor service by a European Accor Hotel, it would seem that your membership means nothing at all to Accor hotels in Europe, amazing….. coming from Australia these European Accor hotels could sure learn a thing or too from their Australian colleagues.

the hotel is within easy reach of Temple Meads station and a direct 10 minute walk to Bristol city centre - shopping malls, the Old City area and a simple access to the Riverside walk. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, the room was well maintained, quiet and comfortable (though the bathroom sink needed reference to the housekeeper. there is on-site parking and electrical charging for any motorists.

Back at Novotel Bristol after several years. Nothing has changed, but that's fine with us anyway. Great location near Bristol Temple Meads railway station, as well not so far from city centre. Spacious room ( not exactly the same for the bathroom), the only problem is that they don't make up the room unless you remind that. Courtesy and professionalism from the staff, special mention for Serena, who we met at breakfast

I recently stayed here with my husband to attend a music gig. The location of the hotel was excellent,4 minute walk from where the gig was, 10-15 minute walk to Cabot's Circus & a Wetherspoon's pub 7 minutes away. The staff were friendly & the hotel was clean. The price was reasonable too. We chose this hotel because it had underground, secure parking, however the car park spaces are very small & tight. We had a queen sized room which was plenty big enough for the two of us. The blackout curtains were great & we heard no noise from outside. The bed was quite hard so we struggled to have a decent sleep. The shower wasn't great, there was hardly any pressure & it didn't get very hot. The toilet door had no lock which is fine but when they closed, there was a gap in the middle. Also, the 2 paintings in our room were upside down, one looked like it was dry blood with a couple of squiggles in, this isn't a complaint, just an observation! We didn't have breakfast as we thought £18 each is alot. I would stay here again but more for the location than anything else.

Nice clean Hotel with friendly staff. Managed to check us in early which we didn`t expect. Room was nice with an extra touch for our arrival. Both breakfast and dinner was good with friendly staff all around. No negatives at all. Thank you for the pleasant stay.
