Lovely hotel in the centre of Roscoff. We had a town view room which was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. My only complaint would be the towels - too small , thin and scratchy - not 4 star quality. The receptionist was lovely- Elise I think- friendly, welcoming and very helpful- a credit to the hotel!

Avoid processed microwaved food. Not 4* standard.

This is a four star property. The only food available was microwaved and preserved. from the menu I ordered pave of salmon and puree de pommes de terre. It was awful and overcooked. Its a sad reflection on Mercure that French cuisine had come to this.

The snacks and light meals we offer (such as the salmon and mashed potatoes) are intended as a convenient option for guests who may need something simple outside of restaurant hours, but they are not meant to replace a full dining experience. Being located in the heart of Roscoff, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by a wide variety of excellent local restaurants, many of which serve authentic French cuisine just a short walk from the hotel. Our team is always happy to recommend nearby options to suit your preferences. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and offer a stay more in line with your expectations.

We have just come back from staying at this lovely hotel. The staff we encountered were all very nice especially Valentin & Elise who welcomed us and made our stay enjoyable , Thank you We will come back again based on our experience.

Outstanding in all respects, particularly the staff

We have stayed in Roscoff dozens of times before and I booked into the Ibis for 3 nights on arrival as we stayed there on our last visit. The staff at Ibis were lovely, they booked us a seaview room and we took our luggage up. I noticed immediately that everywhere was very tired looking, the room & bathroom were very small and there was no comfort in the room whatsoever. It was impossible to unpack, but the view was great as was the location. I had a terrible nights sleep, the bed was very uncomfortable. I got up in the morning and set off to find somewhere else to stay and came across the Mercure a couple of doors away. Elise was on duty, I explained the situation at Ibis and asked if they had a room. She showed me a lovely room which I accepted. She spoke perfect English and told me that the 2 hotels are part of the same chain. She phoned Ibis and told them I wanted to change hotels and sorted it all out with no issues at all. We had 2 wonderful nights (wish it had been the 3 nights) the location, the decor, our room looked like we were the first people to stay in it! beautifully appointed bathroom, comfy bed, spacious room, immaculately clean, the view, absolutely delicious breakfast in a stunning dining room, fabulous staff, especially Elise. We couldn't fault a thing. We will be returning again very soon, thank you so much for making our stay perfect.

Booked a privilege room with balcony. Room was miniscule you could barely walk past the foot of the bed, on the other hand the view was terrific. Breakfast was fine but buffet was uncovered with flies everywhere, especially need to seal up jams, getting a spoofull of honey out, ten tiny flies flew out of the jar ...
