Lovely and clean hotel. The pool is also super fun and has a nice vibe. Every single staff member I encountered were all nice people. Specifically, Myriam Monestime elevated my experience with her kindness and attractiveness. I truly enjoyed my interaction with her. She is very caring.

Massive construction zone; not a relaxing vacation

Booked this hotel because of the rooftop pool, which is lovely, except that it is overwhelmed by a giant crane building something next door. I find it hard to relax when a 20-ton cement counterweight is hanging over my head as I swim, or alternately several tons of metal that make up the crane’s jib. Even a tiny piece of debris falling onto swimmers could be serious. (I spoke to the hotel's front desk about this, and they told me to call the City of Miami if it bothered me.) The hardworking construction workers begin at 7am and end at dusk, which are precisely the hours the pool is open, so you can also enjoy the sounds of jackhammers and sawing along with the Latin music playing at the pool. In addition, another construction project blocks off access to the Brickell entertainment district, which is the hotel’s other main selling point. You can still get there via a detour, but on the way you and your family will have to run across a busy street without a crosswalk. Otherwise, beds were soft and room was clean. The hotel asked us to check in online in advance, which I did, but it was kind of useless, because we were still asked on arrival to dig out a credit card (we’d already paid for our room) and were required to read and initial some long document about smoking and pets.

The moment I walked in, I felt like family. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. Yanelys always greets us with a smile and a very positive attitude. The entire hotel gives you a Miami experience without going to south beach. I definitely will be back.

Gelsys is the best bartender ever! She is so bright and smiley and welcoming every time I see her. They have the most amazing food options (including gluten free accommodations)! Super amazing lattes as well - all around phenomenal experience and just adore Gelsys!!!

We arrived from Fort Lauderdale after 3 days stay and came to Miami at Novotel Miami Brickell and after Check in , I needed a Coffee and the lovely bar attendant name Gelsys and wonderful person attended right away. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
