Disappointed sea with a view of cranes

Unfriendly, unhelpful hotel , under construction all around ,not gluten friendly,lack of understanding,drinks awful ,all inclusive a joke ,kids club was a disgrace on one evening no control no system just one for all . Entertainment was same songs 3 days in a row , excellent singers but they do not talk to each other obviously needs addressing felt very sorry for white girl in her breaks on her own Other guests rude , no manners , All in all couldn't wait to return home The beach club noise from 1pm was awful was like being in ibiza Not child friendly . Positives weather was warm , pools warm . Staff seemed to be unhappy in there work place here . And God forbid you wanted info all we was told was scan the code , even when scanning the code still not given the answer retold scan code so gave up ,staff need training good customer service.

As a regular visitor to Mövenpick Al Marjan, I can confidently say that the hotel continues to secure its position as the best family-friendly hotel in Al Marjan. As always, everything was perfect—from room cleanliness and excellent services to staff support and activities. Very kid friendly & very enjoyable

Went for a family holiday. The hotel is very kid friendly. The staff in the hotel were very friendly. The Duty Manager Mr Arvind was very helpful when we checked in & other times when needed. Afaq at Beach House redtaurant was also helpful. Most of the staff were helpful. Kids enjoyed a lot. All restaurants had good food & they managed to do for us completely vegetarian as well. Spa was excellent. Floating thing on the beach was really good. Definite must go.

A nice hotel, but not a nice experience

This hotel seemed to be a good choice, but it ended up being one of my least favourite holidays. Al Marjan island is heavily under construction, and even when it will be finished, it will not be my cup of tea. It is extremely artificial (of course), seems too cramped (hitels, sea etc.) and lacking nature. One of the worst things was that the hotel was filled with Russians (I’d say at least 90%, if not more). In these reviews I am not allowed to say why this bothered me. We had purchased all inclusive dine around package, which was a good decision since this seemed to be quite expensive hotel. However, dine around consisted of quite restricted menu choices in each restaurant. Since I am allergic to fish, my number of choices were even more limited. I soon got tired of lack of choice. The service in all the restaurants was very polite. We stayed almost entirely at Ula and the adults only pool. There was really no other alternative. But the horrible thing about this adults only pool area was that there was a DJ playing music in the afternoon so loudly that our eardrums were ringing in the evenings, despite the fact that we wore ear plugs! If you think that I am exaggerating, you go and see for yourself, but don’t say you haven’t been warned. We asked for the music to be turned down and we faced ridicule and fake smiles. There was absolutely no relaxation by the pool after the DJ started, no possibility of listening to your own music or an audio book. The room was nice, the staff was mostly nice, the food was ok, but I kept thinking I am never coming back. One more note, the pillows in the bed were super hard and therefore bad for my neck, so asked for another type of pillow several times. I got some knock-off Tempur pillows, but not a single softer pillow in the hotel.
