Novotel Deauville Beach

Estuve 3 noches en este Novotel . Debe ser el Novotel mas chic en que he estado , tiene un restaurant buenísimo en el ultimo piso , un poco mas caro que los tipicos restaurant de NOVOTEL , pero es buenísimo. En el lobby eso sí , tienen un restaurant de sushi , que desentona un poco con el resto del hotel , es autoservicio , con el sistema de Mac Donals o Burger KING de pedir en una pantalla , asi que no comí allí no puedo opinar de la comida , pero no me gustó el servicio , despues de esperar mucho rato atención , me dicen que es self service, sin explicar nada . El personal de recepción super atento. La habitación , con el standar nuevo de Novotel (muebles obscuros) una televisión super grande , cafetera y herbidor. Una pequeña;a terraza , todo muy lindo , una habitación limpia , luminosa , perfecta . Pedí una plancha y al fin conseguí un hotel que me llevó una plancha a la habitación , no se demoraron nada en llevarla . La ubicación muy buena , cerca de la playa y de una zona de comercio de lujo , bastante cerca de la Gare ( taxi 11 €) Me gustó mucho este Novotel , lo recomiendo sin dudar .

It’s in a perfect location within Deauville with the advantage of having its own underground garage, parking in the town is not easy but you need to book a place in advance as it is not too big. All the members of staff we interacted with were charming, friendly and highly efficient and the room we had was ideal for the one night we were there, a bit on the small side if on an extended stay. Breakfast was a typical continental one and perfectly fine but the evening meal left a lot to be desired and, whilst I know food in France is now very expensive, this was eyewatering for what it was. Most hotels want to ‘pre-authorise’ a credit card which blocks the amount on the card but this place actually charges the card, not something I have ever encountered before, I just hope the card company will not be charging their normal exchange fees on both transactions when the refund is made!

At 390.00 per room expected Welcome Drink for me and my wife. Lenghty discussion with Chef de Récéption, who could easily have met my expectation by extending a EUR 5.00 voucher to my wife. Instead, she gave a lengthy lecture on morality and respect in front of other guests listening in. Leaves us with a bad taste of the hotel ! Poor management.

Muy cómodo y agradable . Y muy buen posicionado . Buena cocina también.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff. Great for families with spacious rooms, nice indoor pool, secure parking and great restaurant. Location very near Deauville center and the beach. Hope to visit again!
