Great experience at Movenpick Dead Sea Resort

We had 3 nights at the Movenpick Dead Sea Resort and had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, and everything was done with a smile ! On each of the evenings, we tried a different restaurant.... Lebanese, Chinese and then the Italian. All were lovely, but the Lebanese was definitely the best and the staff there were excellent. Breakfast in the Main Hall was also good. A buffet style with everything from omelettes to pancakes. I would definitely recommend the omelettes !! The golf carts are a godsend when going down to the Dead Sea area, especially if you have any difficulties in walking. Just call reception and one is sent to collect you....thank you 🙏 The Dead Sea area is definitely worth visiting. However, this area could be made more attractive....and if going in the sea to bathe, bring some beach shoes as it is quite rocky underfoot. We visited the Spa area but didn't use the facilities as we felt they were a little overpriced and as the resort was not too busy, we didn't feel the need to pay extra to get away from the crowds. However, in the height of main season, we could understand why some people may wish to do this. Overall, we had a great experience at the Movenpick Dead Sea Resort and would like to thank Rawan Fakhoury on Customer Service for her help.

Great Location

The hotel is huge and VERY spread out. While it's located on the shore of the Dead Sea, it's a 3/4 mile walk from the lobby to the water. I wish I knew that the hotel offers golf cart rides around the property. The hotel and the property are beautiful; very relaxing atmosphere. The included breakfast was good and offered a variety. It gave us a chance to try local cuisine that we would not have otherwise tried. The rooms are large and comfortable.
