It feels as if I am home

We have traveled at least four, and sometimes nine, months a year for the last 15 years. However, I cannot recall a hotel/cruise where I have felt more at home that at the Mövenpick Cebu Phillipines. Sure the hotel is very good and the meals are delicious, but what makes this place special is the wonderful and engaging staff. We were almost always addressed by name and everyone knew our coffee and alcohol preferences. Tbe staff are great, but also the management team let them be real, rather than overly polite and subservient. A special mention to the all of the fantastic Pool Bar staff including Jan and Roi and Melch in Reception - I wish I could recall and personally thank each and every one of the 100 staff we interacted with. To me, this hotel feels like family - a rare thing.

The place is great...clean and comfortable They upgraded us to seaview ❤️and it was a pleasant experience and we had the privilege to use their newly opened Executive lounge ❤️❤️ The staff are also very polite and friendly and caring Intern Jeralica is especially nice and helpful

A short overnight stay on route to another island but everything was perfect. Upgraded to an ocean facing room, lovely dinner by the pool and a great sleep. Woke up well rested and headed to the substantial buffet breakfast. All the staff are wonderful- such an asset to the hotel. Thanks to Jeralica for looking after us at breakfast- your huge smile is a wonderful way to start the day.

Possibly one of the best hotel stays we ever had! The hotel itself was clean, modern, great food, etc.... But where this hotel really shines is the dedication their employees have to their guests! Every employee (every single one) always had a warm smile and greeting which really made us feel special! Hotels in the US can learn from them. Added applause for Roi and Lester....they were diamonds among all the gems! A sincere thank you.... can't wait to be back!

I am writing to share our wonderful experience during our recent stay and day use activity at your resort. I was joined by my coworkers and friends to celebrate the success of our business, and we were thoroughly impressed. The location was very accessible, the food was excellent, and the entire staff was incredibly accommodating, we truly felt like VIPs throughout our visit. I would like to give special recognition to one of your front office staff members, BG. He offered us the day use activity, which was not only affordable but also perfect for my team. BG demonstrates a remarkable dedication to his work; he makes his guests feel valued and truly understands the customer’s perspective. Having a background in the Quick Service Restaurant industry myself, I deeply appreciate employees with his level of commitment. Your company is very lucky to have him on your team.
