Excellent Facilities, But not Good Management

The hotel facilities are excellent. Very clean, spacious and in a very good location. One of my favorite in fact. However, the management this time was the worst thing. Although I’m a Diamond member, as a family we were not treated as a loyal Diamond members!! Nothing of the benefits was offered nor given which was a big surprise. We also spoke to the manager, but unfortunately without any luck. No action was taken at all. Really very disappointed from the treatment I got as a Diamond member. This will make me never repeat the visit again, despite the good facility and location.

We are actually hotel apartments and suite night privilege is not applicable to us, however as a gesture of good will, we are providing upgrades if there is availability. Disappointing 2nd experience

I had a chosen Movenpick Downtown once again after an excellent experience back in Nov21. This time was much different: -had to wait 10-15min to get some hot water -room isolation was poor and I could hear my noisy neighbors 3 nights/4 -Laundry was not handled effectively, bags not replaced and always need to request to get it back - I prepaid my stay at the beginning but never got ask to put a deposit for extras which created disruptions as I had to « pay as you go » Concierge and taxi staff are very helpful Overall really mixed experience and wandering whether I will take my chances next time …

Reservation system must be improved. I had booked for the period 5-10 February 2022 with a credit card guaranty and I arrived on 6-Feb-22 early morning (if I remember I put a remark about my arrival time) but when I arrived it gave me an unpleasant surprise that my reservation was cancelled. Some of the staff must upgrade their knowledge about acceptance of foreign currency. I wanted to change a USD 100 bill but the staff refused to accept it telling that the hotel does not accept USD bill issued before 2013. However, another staff seemed to be more knowledgeable and he accepted it. So, these kinds of small things irritate the customers. Otherwise everything was very good.

First of all, thanks all. Just have doubt, I was booked for one day at 1:25 PM, after 6:00 PM, I came to cancel the booking they refused to accept. So, I stay that night. I am so upset about this. Thanks

The staff was wonderful, espacially Frankline who was a very good help all the time. the room was perfect and always clean. food in the restaurant is great, and the service was at high level. I will recomend this hotel for all travelers who are looking for a quite place to be nexxt to Dubai Mall.
