Functional Clean Hotel

We were a group staying at the Hotel. Nice clean and neat rooms with Kettle and Coffee making machines. Friendly front office and Housekeeping staff. Breakfast was good and also has a nice parking lot. Conveniently located near airport and also has a tram station behind the hotel to take you to city. A nice Functional hotel for the stay.

Poor guest services, suffocating rooms

Rooms felt very suffocating since AC wasn't working at all. Even had the windows opened but room felt the same. We then requested for a room change only to know that their rooms were just like ours, suffocating and their only option was a ventilator(fan) to make the room cooler. Fan wasn't of any help at all either. We added an extra bed but housekeeping opted to leave it at our front door so we asked her if she can set it up for us, but she kept complaining about it when told. Safety deposit boxes weren't working aswell. As per front office there were reports of stealing so its use was discontinued the. I thought either staff were not trustworthy or security wasn't tight. Staff needs to be reoriented with basic hospitality. Front office attendants seemed rude and unaccomodating. Location was close to the airport so a 5-10 minute shuttle was convenient. I guess thats the only upside but overall experience was extremely poor.

Terrible customer service and just a run down uncomfortable overpriced hotel. Stay somewhere better. Where to start… on arrival I overheard a customer say this was the third room he had tried as one wasn’t cleaned and one had someone in it as he waited in the cue. We were told no rooms will be ready until 3pm at 1pm but we can wait outside. Next morning a lady in front was saying how her room had someone in it when she went to go in. So checking in at around 10am. Then the man from that room turned up in his pyjamas as he was the one walked in on! They both had the same room number on their cards. Our sink was blocked and water just filled up which we went to reception in the morning for and they did fix. When we got back from a day out tired, the room key no longer worked. Went back down to reception and had to wait 15 minutes for our turn with the one guy behind the counter to get the key reprogrammed while he chatted with airline hostess and friends. He had said hello just 5 minutes earlier when we went past so knew we were waiting unnecessarily. No effort to get to us quicker while we waited wet. And then he suggested I had kept it near my phone or other credit cards. It was in an rfid proof wallet! My credit cards don’t wipe when stored… They know they have a swipe card problem and dare to blame you the customer! Two of the staff at the counter we dealt with were what I would call poor service people. The lady in front of us had to get her key reprogrammed too. Often we heard people with key card issues The beds are hard and the duvet/dooner/quilt so washed out on each bed it was like no stuffing in it in places and crispy in others. There was two light bulbs missing from the bedside lamps. A reading light had the wires showing. The wall had weird sayings on it. No water supplied to room (although the website says they do). The “coffee machine” is a kettle and some instant coffee with no milk. Bathroom had dirty parts and towels are small scratchy ones. This hotel is used by airlines. They are their favourites the rest of us they seem to have no care for. This hotel is near nothing of interest and is directly under taking off planes (although to be fair it is double glazed so relatively quiet). I would not stay here unless you can’t get anywhere else. There is no comfort, service or things of interest. Don’t stay here unless you want discomfort, to get walked in on, or locked out.

Should be cleaner and neater

The hotel is very conveniently located not far from the airport. It has big parking lot, keep in mind, it’s not free. The rooms should be kept so much better. I was surprised to see a room like that in Zürich. The bathroom needed some fixing, the sink rusty and cracks. The blankets are super thin- they used to be down , I believe, but the filling got onto little corners of the stitching. Disappointed.

Great hotel, free shuttle to and from airport

Highly recommended hotel. Free shuttle service (every 20 minutes) from and to the airport. Spacious rooms with working refrigerator, coffee and all amenities in room Employees are very helpful and courteous. Very well connected to downtown by tram or bus (30 min ride) If downtown is out of your price, I highly recommend the extra 30 minutes and choose this hotel. Free car parking. Close to supermarkets and restaurants.
