A non budget, budget option

The Lost Camel is the budget hotel option in Ayers Rock Resort but it is by no means cheap. Paying more than USD 250 for a room without windows feels a bit like a rip off. The room is colorful. The bed is comfortable and the ac is working. There is a can of bug repellent in the room, which proved to come in handy after dropping a potato chip on the floor which attracted a bird of time little ants.

What a lovely place to stay. Spacious room which was cleaned every day. Very good bed, tv with many channels (in case you want to stay in room😀), nice pool. And so helpful and friendly people working there. Had my breakfast at Ilkari restaurant at the hotel next door. Truly a luxury experience! Really worth the money.

Overpriced basic accommodation

Clean room but overpriced basic accommodation. No full service reception shuts at 4pm. 2nd floor room with no lift. So need to pull suitcases up stone flight of stairs. Lots of noise from the corridor. No window in the room ! NO plug in sink . Extractor fan not working. No channels available on the TV. Called reception before 4pm but no one attended

Stayed here for couple nights was great close to town square and pick up for tours room was clean and very comfy pool looked great altho didnt swim however everything else lovely will be back maybe when not so hot thanks lost camel will reccommend to others cheers

Stayed at the lost camel for 3 nights in a standard zipper king bed room on the ground floor near the pool.The bed was comfortable with comfortable pillows,tv,small fridge,safe,iron,kettle. Good size room with a toilet and shower.pool area had lounge chairs and umbrellas.staff on arrival very nice and helpful. The whole hotel area is clean. Staff friendly. There is no restaurant at this hotel or breakfast,only a minute away from the town square which has a restaurant also has a small IGA for groceries,post office,couple of souvenir shops.information. The free shuttle doesn't stop at this hotel but the stops aren't far away...we enjoyed our stayed.
