So I had cause to do a long business trip and chose this time to drive and see the countryside at the same time I booked into mantra online. The price seem reasonable but I wasn’t sure what I was likely to get. I normally stay in. Let’s say more salubrious hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. The girl at the front desk was excellent attentive eye contact listening to what I was saying and helping each time. I had suitcases which I parked my car underneath which was good. Brought it up to the room and when I open the door I was surprised at how small the rooms are. I had a large suitcase with me and another small bag but the rooms are very clean quite modern and neat and tidy as well No water was supplied or provided , so you need to bring your own. Thankfully, it was winter. It’s pretty cold out there. But I will say this the room I had would be only suitable for one person. I had to use the floor to open my suitcase. The area provided was simply too small and if it was a couple with multiple bags you’d be in a problem. . So please think about that if you’re booking, I’m sure they have bigger rooms but take that into consideration That the restaurant downstairs was very good. The waiter was very good but the guy running the show down there was arrogant and look like he wasn’t coping with stress very well. Other than that I recommend mantra to stay and no I’m not paid by them or anything like that.

Needed a place for a business trip and this place did the job. Budget breakfast food options were pretty limited but rooms were clean and a decent size. For some reason I just couldn’t get the temperature control in the room right and there was a misunderstanding at check out where I was overcharged but that was rectified when the error was pointed out on the spot.

What a fantastic stay @ The Mantra Albury! A beautiful, classy and chic modern Mantra in an ideal position in the centre of Albury just off Dean street. Amazing staff with a strong grasp of all the Accor plus tier levels and benefits. We were incredibly well looked after by front of house staff Lewis, the lovely Ms April and Tamara. The Mantra Albury comes decked out with a dedicated secure children’s play area and business lounge for all your family and business travel needs, WOW!! Breakfast and dining was excellent and again the staff are really welcoming and attentive . The dining and drink options are great and I found the menu very reasonably priced. I had one of the best chicken Parma iv ever had and that’s no lie, it was just devine. Huge shout out to Jade, Jonathon, Juliette, Pradeep and Jung. Function rooms and bar area beautifully furnished and the hotel rooms were equally impressive with Panoramic views. Housekeeping do a stellar job with an eye for detail as the whole space is impeccable and a huge thank you to Justice & Kristy. The Mantra Albury also have 6 dedicated pet friendly rooms catering to those with four legged family with them. Coffee was great and it was equally impressive to see and meet the lovely GM whom very much was hands on and engaging. Secure parking underneath with lifts to reception and floors. Ultimately we have had a great two day experience at the Mantra Albury. As a seasoned traveller and review authority on trip advisor I really value an establishment that values the guest experience and Accor membership entitlements, so we are over the moon to highly recommend a stay at the Mantra Albury. Best in town! We will be back 🙂

There was a fire alarm evacuation at about 4.45 a.m. As a business traveller I need my sleep! Nothing from staff as we all stood around on the footpath outside for about 25 minutes while the fire brigade turned up. After we were let back in, and I looked at the sign on the bathroom door saying to close it so as not to trigger the fire alarm by the steam (!), I was very careful to do so. Unfortunately the exhaust fan in the bathroom is almost totally ineffective. At work the next day a colleague said they had been evacuated in the middle of the night there as well. I really do suggest that Mantra consider the design of this hotel. The fire alarm sensor appears to be directly outside the bathroom with the weak exhaust fan. I will not stay here again. The view is nice! The buffet breakfast was average. There are much better options in Albury.

Small room twin beds were well used on wheels and moved a lot..glass sliding doors for bathroom no privacy heard every sound!! Tv did not offer foxtel…the air conditioner loud no night button sleep Terrible…when we went for breakfast to restaurant/cafe we were thrown in with a bus of Chinese tourists just bedlum!! …also charged us extra $20 to park car terrible experience all round ….room was not cleaned to a four n half standard only good thing about this hotel was the view.
