Noisy and No internet !!!!!

Extremely noisy room with trucks in and out of resort all day doing deliveries i imagine? Internet was out all week with no access to our emails unless we ventured much further away from resort. Customer service extremely ordinary and room service menu lame!!!

Dirty and poorly upkept rooms

We recently had 5 nights in an apartment at Peppers Noosa and were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of our room, the kitchen was dirty, walls throughout the room seemed as though they had never been wiped down, ever. dirty windows, bathroom felt dark and dirty and blinds/furniture within the room was also dirty and stained. The room had a funny smell as if it was damp. I had to clean the apartment before we could settle in and feel comfortable to unpack our bags. No matter what setting the mini fridge was on it was freezing everything we put in there. Staff were friendly enough however cleaning crew looked very disinterested and it showed.. The main pool was dirty and cold, the lap pool was cleaner but still cold. Buffet breakfast was enjoyable every day and so was the golf buggy service to and from Hastings street. A beautiful spot located within the bush just a shame about the cleanliness of the room!! I don't think we will be rebooking due to poorly kept rooms.

⸻ We stayed at Peppers Noosa in September and were very disappointed with our experience. The cleanliness was poor: during our three-day stay, the room was never vacuumed. Housekeeping only made the bed and changed the towels. When we complained, the floor still had crumbs and sand, and to make matters worse, we found a wet towel in the room on the day we arrived — even after reporting it to the front desk, it was never removed. We were told that the “refresh” service only included towels and bed-making, while a proper clean would only be done every eight days. For a 4-star hotel, this is far below expectations. On top of that, the room was extremely noisy. The windows seemed to have no proper glass insulation, so at night we could hear everything. Early in the morning, there were very loud bird noises, and from around 6am we were woken up by shouting, children screaming, and constant noise from outside. It was almost impossible to sleep properly. Overall, this was not the standard we expected from a 4-star property, and we would not recommend it.

Pleasant although not great. Peaceful rainforest setting

My travel companion and I had a 2 bedroom apartment for 6 nights. It was well-appointed and comfortable and looked out at rainforest. The main bedroom had a king bed and ensuite with a spa bath and separate toilet. I had the small back bedroom with ensuite shower and two single beds made up as a king. Not having used the main bedroom I can't vouch for the bed quality but the two singles made up as a king were not comfortable as there was a long valley under my back all night in the middle of the bed which the overlay made no difference to so I didn't get much sleep. The breakfasts are good if you like pastries and pancakes etc. but there was not much that was really healthy - no plain raw oats or low fat plain yoghurt. Lots of sugar and processed flour. The rooms were not cleaned for the duration of the stay. They come and re-arrange the bed linen a bit and give the bathrooms a bit of a wipe (and missed coming at all to do even that one or two days) but there's no cleaning of the kitchenette benches or sink and only occasional bin emptying. The walk down to Hastings St takes about 5 minutes down and 6 back and it's an easy walk so I never used the free buggy service.

Appalling customer service. Refusing lady with migraine and vomiting the buggy service.

After coming down with a migraine on the beach I made my way back to Peppers and sat in the buggy at the bottom of the hill for a transfer to my room. I arrived covered in vomit and was shaking. I was then told that I could not use the buggy service as I had booked through Airbnb and that I had to walk up the hill. I was crying due to the pain and I asked her to please call her manager as I was appalled at the customer service I was receiving. I was praying there would be an exception for Peppers guests who are distressed regardless of who they have booked through. Even if I had to pay. She refused and told me I needed to walk as her manager would also say no. She offered to call an ambulance. I asked her again just to please please drive me up to my room. Again she declined. It then took me over 40 mins to make my way up to the room in the sun as I needed to stop 3 times on the way to sit, vomit and build the stamina to keep going. The driver continued to drive past me, up and down the hill, could see me vomiting in the bushes but still refused to stop. I could not fathom how I was being treated. I ended up driving myself down to the surf club to meet my son. The lifesavers found me, called an ambulance and took me straight into the first aid. Luckily I am recovering however the risk the driver put Peppers in needs to be addressed as the treatment I received was inhumane. I have stayed at Peppers many times and never have I ever received the disrespect and appalling customer service that I did yesterday. Especially in front of the public. Many people saw this also and cannot believe Peppers could treat their guests like this. This could have ended up much worse than it did. I was extremely disappointed and now I do not feel safe to stay or recommend anyone to stay there again.

I do need to clarify that you were not a Peppers guest but had booked an independently managed apartment within the complex. Our buggy service is complimentary and available only for in-house Peppers guests. This is not a matter of unwillingness to help but a strict safety and liability requirement that our team must follow. I understand how distressing this situation was for you, and I’m sorry for the discomfort you experienced. Our team did the right thing in offering medical assistance, but unfortunately, they are not permitted to transport non-guests in the buggy.
