Very poor experience.

Very attentive staff.Peppers Craigieburn. Bowral. Booking for 7 rooms, 3 nights. 15 people. What a disappointment? Our expectations were never reached. What does the name "Peppers" conjure up in your mind when looking for accommodation. ? A high standard of accommodation?? It did for our group. We thought it was going to be special. What a total let down when we arrived at this hotel. Reception and lounge rooms in the original building are absolutely beautiful. Website pictures. Our group (7 double rooms ) rooms for three nights at $325 per night . Now here is the BUT's Would you expect , a room with perhaps a view of the golf course or garden for $325 a night. We were given a room , first out the back overlooking the kitchen rubbish bins. A room so small and crowded that there was no reasonable space to put our luggage. A toilet so small that you wouldn't be able to "swing a cat.' in it. No window or ventilation in the toilet. Yes, the rooms were clean but so overcrowded with a king size bed. Front desk was almost adamant about changing our rooms. The usual story of no rooms left. We did get a better room to change to, but it was not really a big improvement. $325 per night for our group booking and yet they advertise today to the public for $197. No. despite a negotiated reduction, our group would never go back.

Autumn weather goes beautifully with cosy fireplaces , beautiful gardens and so Craigieburn is a lovely place to stay in May. We booked a room to attend a nearby wedding and weren't disappointed. Staff friendly and comfy bed. Our room was on the top floor with outlook over trees and hearing birdsong in the morning. Suggestion : The hotel needs more visible signage as it is very hard to find the driveway on a foggy night especially coming from the rear via Centennial road .

Nice location but left early before really having a good look around

One night on a work trip. Quiet location in a nice setting. Got room service for dinner which was quiet nice. Left early the next morning so not much chance to look at the grounds. Staff friendly. Consider you need to carry cases up stairs to the entry if you have any limitations in movement.

A property with a long history (it had stables) but updated with modern facilities. Friendly and efficient staff. Close to the centre of Bowral but far enough away.

Lovely place in the heart of Bowral and not too far from the town , the hotel itself is set in beautiful manicured gardens and has a 9 golf hole course as well ! As you walk up to the main entrance it blends an old style building with a Modern interior with longes with a bar and restaurant ! Rooms was clean and with a en-suite but was looking tired looking and could do with a refresh ! Overall a lovely place to stay
