A wonderful stay

It was our first stay that the Craigieburn. The hotel provides boutique style accommodation and has a 9 hole golf course on site. It has an abundant of history dating back to the 1880s. Our room door opens to a verandah which faces the green golf course. The tv has a very limited channels. The room size is very decent however its bathroom needs a total renovation. Staff are super friendly especially the restaurant staff . We had buffet breakfast and 2 course dinner there. Food are delicious. There is no gym onsite but there is plenty to explore nearby.

This is an old hotel set in the beautiful countryside of the southern highlands. The hotel is definitely old, almost a hundred years old to be exact, but has an amazing charm and elegance that we enjoyed. The gardens are captivating and the buildings are from times gone by. They probably need some refurbish but need to keep their history. The staff were friendly and amazing and could not do enough for us. We will definitely return

Beautiful gardens and lovely garden setting and surrounds. Hotel in need of complete room revamp. My room was tired, bathroom very worn and very small.One curtain completely missing. Doors, walls, skirting with chipped or scratched. Bed comfortable. Main part of the hotel was fine, and in better condition than the rooms. Conference facilities very dated and old. Lounge areas quiet comfortable. Food average. All over experience average to poor. Best thing about the experience were the gardens and staff very nice too.

Very tired and needs an update

The Pepper's resort have a certain reputation for quality and prestige but sadly this venue fell well short of that. Our room had the feel of a standard 3 star hotel. The lighting was very dark, the room small and generally the finishes appears more budget. The bed was comfortable and the complementary drinks and snack bars was a nice touch. Everything about this hotel seems run down. The chipped tables in the lounge area,sofa past their used by date, peeling paint as you look out the restuarant window as I looked past the jam jar ( not a trendy mason type jar) vase with a flower in it. Other table had vases. The gardens were lovely and in better repair than the building. I know this is a historic hotel and I can overlook the noisy floorboards and the battered skirting boards, these all add charm but basic maintenance seems to be an afterthought. I don't think I will be returning.

We like staying at Peppers Craigieburn with its old-world feel with modern amenities. The restaurant is terrific, and there's nothing better than enjoying a pre-dinner drink in the lounge in front of the fire. We found the staff members very friendly and helpful.
