After paying 5 star rates the hotel is 3 star at best. They have a monopoly on the area so they can charge whatever they want. We have stayed at this hotel once a year for the last 4 years and it keeps on getting worse. The hotel rooms are deteriorating fast with broken curtains and old furniture, the bathroom and kitchen supplies are absent you have to ask for each item which can take 30mins to come up and you feel like a pain. The worst of all they do not replenish the complimentary bottles of water and when we asked for some they charged us $5 each. Surely when paying thousand plus a night for a room they can supply the basics.

This hotel is average at best but for the price I would have expected better. A few things: 1. No valet - for $700 a night I don’t want to park my car. Instead after unloading with kids in tow I’m navigating a very tricky car park. 2. Lack of staff - reception was a ghost town. I waited to check in listening to multiple phones ring out. Check out was efficient but clearly understaffed. 3. Room - did all families get put in the same section of the hotel? It sounds like it! We were kept awake with the stomping of children above and screaming next door. The light in the hallway was so bright not even a towel under the door make a difference. A man came into the hallway singing at 11 pm. Doors slamming…. I wanted to complain but didn’t have the energy. There was clearly room to spread people out but all patrons were packed to the elevator end of the hall. 4. Cleanliness - rooms were clean but things were a bit grimy in parts. Our table outside was dirty and the couch was a tad stained. 5. Accor members- I really didn’t feel like there was any special treatment for being an Accor member. Guy at bar didn’t tell me I could get a discount and told me not to charge room. Only found out I’d be eligible for a discount when I got back to my room and read this small piece of paper I got at check in that I was supposed to read… this is a symptom of a lack of staffing. Everyone seemed to busy to assist. All in all it was pretty meh. Writing this review at 4.30 am after being woken by noise and light under door though so maybe our experience will improve with breakfast…

Une nuit très bien dormi 2 grands lits Vue océan Et réveil avec un perroquet sur la vitre Dîner très bien aussi et petit déjeuner excellent Belle étape avant Sydney Accueil comme les novotel Parking un peu cher Sinon rien a dire Wifi aussi rapide

Bellissimo hotel con vista splendita ma senza internet

Il albergo è fantastico. Stanza molto grande.balcone con vista mare splendido. colazione buona. Il letto era grande e molto comodo. Un albergo perfetto per vacanze ma non per business man quale hanno bisogno del internet per comunicare con i clienti e fornitori. Sono stato 3 giorni è e il internet non andava. Hanno provato tutto ma non riuscivo di mandare via neanche un mail. Qualche volta andava il internet è potevo ricevere almeno i mail. questo è l'unico punto debole di questo albergo.

Era nostra intenzione arrivare a Sydney in serata poi, attardati in questa costa con cosi' tante meraviglie da vedere, abbiamo deciso di fermarci a Wollongong e al secondo tentativo abbiamo trovato questa struttura . Bella camera, spaziosa , con vista sull'oceano , personale gentile, posteggio e... con gift di bottiglia di vino bianco alla reception. da consigliare
