Really enjoyed the food, rooms, and helpful staff. You need a car here with the distance to the rooms - though the staff can pick you up in a golf cart. Being at the golf course is a big plus. Great course.

Go for golf not a bed

if you want to Spend over $400 a night for an uncomfortable bed while right below christchurch airports flight path with golf course lawn mowers going at 6am with shocking useless reception staff then this is the place for you. hard to find positives for the price. the golf course looks fantastic condition - stay anywhere else in chch for half the price and come play golf.

Lovely view, but dirty and needing maintenance!

The lake front suite had a fantastic view over the lake and hole 9. However, it was very disappointing that on arrival the bathrooms, sink, and the kitchen were dirty (full of hairs, mould, grass and dirty dishes). We only took pictures of the bathrooms. Overall, the suite needs some serious maintenance work and better cleaning. Not worth the money!

This is the worst hotel experience I ever had I'm my life with Accor. Would never recommend this property for the sake of just lake view. Their hospitality is degraded to some next level which I can't even expect from 2 star hotel. From reception to dining everything is a big disappointment. They show the property is completely booked but you can see only 1 or 2 more people staying there. It's a complete scam and totally not worth it

Well the outlook from our room which was in a 2 level townhouse was wonderful. Spacious room and very clean. But we were disturbed by the people in the room above us thumping around at 1am in the morning. Not much noise insulation between floors. Also there is a nasty speed hump just prior to driving up to reception which my very low vehicle bottomed out on. There is no good reason for this speed hump to be there at all and should be removed. The TV in the room wasn't a smart TV. I would have thought in a resort like this all TV's would be smart TVs?Other than that a very enjoyable stay.

With regards to the hump, this is a speed bump put in place to reduce the speed off vehicles coming into the courtyard. The path links the front 9 and back 9 of the Golf Couse and therefore is used by a lot of pedestrians. The speed bump was put in place due to a speeding vehicle and a nasty incident involving a pedestrian a couple of years ago. All TV's in the Resort are smart TV's and have a casting service available. Sorry of this was not explained to you. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back soon.
