Well the outlook from our room which was in a 2 level townhouse was wonderful. Spacious room and very clean. But we were disturbed by the people in the room above us thumping around at 1am in the morning. Not much noise insulation between floors. Also there is a nasty speed hump just prior to driving up to reception which my very low vehicle bottomed out on. There is no good reason for this speed hump to be there at all and should be removed. The TV in the room wasn't a smart TV. I would have thought in a resort like this all TV's would be smart TVs?Other than that a very enjoyable stay.

With regards to the hump, this is a speed bump put in place to reduce the speed off vehicles coming into the courtyard. The path links the front 9 and back 9 of the Golf Couse and therefore is used by a lot of pedestrians. The speed bump was put in place due to a speeding vehicle and a nasty incident involving a pedestrian a couple of years ago. All TV's in the Resort are smart TV's and have a casting service available. Sorry of this was not explained to you. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back soon. 40th wedding anniversary

This was the last stop in our 40th wedding anniversary trip, and to say we saved the best for the last is an understatement. We stayed in what I would term a self-contained unit, with TV in both the lounge and bedroom. We slept on a Califonia king bed and had courtyards at both ends. The unit had an amazing bathroom, fabulous kitchen complete with dish draw, washing machine and coffee machine. We dined in and the service and food was exceptional 10 out of 10.

Great accommodation, excellent restaurant, service very pleasant all round. The villa was very roomy, separate bedroom and lounge and dining room with nice lake outlook. Ample parking at the door, washing machine and dryer in garage downstairs. Would be very happy to return.

Nice view, room needing tlc

Our lake front suite had a fantastic view over the lake definitely the highlight of the room. The apartment itself was needing tlc, peeling paint on window frames and bathroom ceiling and poorly repaired dents in bedroom walls were disappointing for the price paid. Kitchen had everything we needed. Couch was very comfortable although sitting on it really accentuated how ugly one wall was with all tv, lamp and radio cords just hanging down wall and art work poorly hung. Bed very comfortable and great water pressure in shower. One big problem was vent near doorway at entry had chilly draught, wouldn't of needed heating without that.

Great escape from the city.

Lovely Oasis nearby to Christchurch and the Airport. Well appointed units (have everything except a washing machine and drier). Close to the city but quiet. We enjoyed our two evening meals at the restaurant. Excellent check-in and check-out experiences.
