We had a lovely stay with Peppers Beach Club Port Douglas went for a few days to escapes the cold for winter break. Great location with easy walking into town and very close to four mile beach for those with limited transportation the closeness to town made up for the lack of eating available at the hotel for dinner as we found this was a down fall. Access to the property would be great if there was a key pad gate on Mowbray street side of the property for those with rooms on that side that are on foot and not in their cars. All in all was very clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay as always with Accor hotels until next time

Awesome room, pool and very friendly staff.

We have stayed here several times before and totally the best resort ever. Close to beach, shops and all amenities. All within walking distance. We stayed in a deluxe room this time with gated pool access and it was fabulous. Rooms were serviced daily and if you didn't require, staff would offer clean towels etc. l highly recommend joining the Accor loyalty program as it offers huge savings on your accommodation and restaurant as well as future Accor providers for other accommodations.

Perfect location and the pool is great for children of all ages. Rooms were clean and had plenty of space. The only downside was the buffet breakfast and the food service. We had some items never arrive and drinks took quite some time to be brought out to the pool. The buffet breakfast had limited options. They ran out of coffee beans one morning and had no other coffee option.

Fantastic place to stay. Pool was cold, but they don’t heat them in winter, but that didn’t stop people from swimming. Apartment was lovely and we could jump off our balcony into the water. Restaurant was good, staff amazing and the outdoor pool with a little beach was beat especially for little kids

Our stay at Peppers was so relaxing and enjoyable. The apartments are beautifully decorated and luxurious. Unfortunately during winter if you want to sit by the pool in the sun. You will struggle. The sunloungers are predominantly in the shade. You have to swap loungers throughout the day to try and stay in the sun. So unfortunately we resulted to going to the beach everyday. Which was a shame as the pool area is beautiful. We also saw lots of other guests at the beach due to the lack of sun around the loungers. So if you want to relax by the pool in the sun - during winter this will be a problem. Breakfast is also very basic.

I am glad to hear that you had a relaxing week away with your kids and found our apartments to be luxurious and beautifully decorated. I can understand your point on the sun lounges receiving more shade during winter due to the layout of the resort, and this may be a consideration for guests looking to book in the future. I would note though that whilst there is increased shade in winter months, there is still plenty of sun to be had through the day, and temperatures average approximately 25-26 degrees daily.
