Pick up from airport was quick and the driver friendly. Stayed overnight in a deluxe studio. Excellent size and facilities. I chose the property because I am an Accor ALL member and the “red hot rooms” rate was exceptional! Hotel receptionist was efficient and friendly. I had a late checkout and slept really well, so didn’t make breakfast. Transfer back to airport again was spot on. Dinner was good in the end, although I had to return the overcooked risotto twice before changing to fish. Excellent service staff. Wine menu was quite good.

So many things to write about, extra charges, delayed security deposit return, car park charges not disclosed on booking, below average breakfast, death stares at arrival by staff and a phone system that requires the patience of a saint. Thanks Mantra for the experience we will forever be even more thankful for the Airbnb's we frequent.

For an airport based hotel Mantra Tullamarine's customer service is appalling, charging me $100 for an early check in. I booked through Qantas Hotels and did not read the fine print and details. My Jet Star flight was late arriving into Melbourne. The hotel's shuttle bus collected me at the airport and I arrived at the hotel at about 2am. Upon arrival I was told I could not check in until 2pm OR pay $20 per hour early check in fee which was $240! They reduced that to $100. I couldn't cancel my booking as it was non refundable, so felt forced to accept the additional payment. There was no interest from the two front counter staff for my predicament - it was a case of take it or leave it. Avoid this hotel and make sure you read the details closely re your Qantas Hotel booking and read the fine print.

the motel is ok but the restaurant is not poor food and service paid 40 odd dollars for a poorly cooked steak that came with 4 potatoes no veg or salad i am sad to say that i will not stay here again i will spend my food budget on the sky bus

Convenient location only 10 minutes from airport, friendly staff, easy check-in, modern room with comfy bed, quiet and on time shuttle that dropped at a good location at the airport. Needed rest before a long flight. Exceeded my expectations.
