OK... big room, comfortable enough

I've stayed 4 times at this hotel. It's not the best location for airport stays... it's too far for my liking. I've had drama stating here in the past, with the shuttle bus, where I ended up taking a taxi instead... 3 times. This time we took the shuttle, but had to load and unload our own luggage. So take that into account if you have big or awkward suitcases. The bus was pretty uncomfortable...could use some new suspension. And the driver was clearly in a hurry to knock off, he ran several red lights and made some of us quite ill on the 12 minute journey. Driver didn't speak once. The room at the mantra was fine, large, clean, all you expect. Only 1 pillow per person though. The room was freezing when we arrived (and I'm a hot person!) But if we turned the air off, it got very stuffy very quick. We tried a higher temp but was still freezing. The food at the restaurant was limited but OK. We had 2 complimentary drinks and were charged for one of them. I think this was rectified after we paid but it was $6 so I didn't bother to care. Overall... I'd stay here again only if was complimentary again. There's nothing really wrong, little things, but it's too far from airport for me when time is limited.

The most friendly & helpful staff at reception. Bar & restaurant staff very welcoming. Menu was so delicious. Roast Cauliflower & Quinoa Salad fabulous. Best Apple & Rhubarb Crumble. The room very spacious & Bathroom quite luxurious touches.

There is a lot to like about the Mantra at Tullamarine. The staff are friendly, the rooms are nice, and the shuttle service to/from the airport is very much appreciated. I've marked the hotel down somewhat for two reasons. First, an email a couple of days before my stay asking about the shuttle service and parking went unanswered and I had to call when I didn't receive a reply. Second, the hotel (like many others) keeps the rooms too warm, with no way of cooling them so that it's cool enough for the thick bedding. Overall though I'd happily stay there again if the price were right.

Great location 5 mins from Melbourne airport. Restaurant was open late and enjoyed a delicious meal. Didnt hear any traffic or airport noise at all. Great value for money

Nice, clean room with modern furnishings. However, with only 1 person at reception it resulted in a lengthy delay to check-in. Dinner at the hotel restaurant on July 7 was an unpleasant and unsatisfactory experience. After waiting for 40 minutes, we finally received our meals. Our main dish was described as seafood (mussels, prawns and fish) with pasta and a Spanish tomato sauce. In reality, it was 90% pasta, 5% mussels, 5% prawns, and NO fish! Not happy Mantra Melbourne Airport (aka Mantra Tullamarine).
