Great location We are moving to Port soon and we wanted get the feel of the area around this end of William Street and Town Beach. The location and feel of the place was right for us. Everything as a pleasant walk away and we did try the walks. Enjoy.

The best place to stay in Port Macquarie if you are planning to go on a holidat. We liked the location, the beach was across the road, five to ten minutes drive to the shops, walking distance to the club and very quiet. The apartment on the sixth floor was a good view of the water, hillside and the main road at a distance. The place was spacious, clean, with a kitchen, laundry and new appliance. There is also a pool and spa . Staff here are friendly and very helpful

Terribly disappointing on so many levels: ~ uncomfortable beds with mattress springs that poke into your back and pillows that are lumpy (both mattress and pillows need replacing) - carpet is grimy and lifting in places - floors are so dirty they leave your feet black - no air conditioning in bedrooms - cobwebs on the ceiling - stains on the outdoor chair cushions Overall, our apartment was dirty, old and in desperate need of refurbishment.

Mantra The Observatory Port Macquarie as Accor Platinum This block is a mix of apartments and hotel rooms. We booked one of the Penthouses. Hotel rooms are made up daily, apartments are made up about after 4 days. It wasn’t stated but a Penthouse is an apartment. No liquor license (or onsite restaurant) so no welcome drink or breakfast. But there is a cafe and Italian restaurant in the building. Free underground parking. Penthouse is large (main w large bed and ensuite, 2nd with double bed, 3rd with 2 singles). Massive balcony and living area with glass bifold doors separating them which could be moved to one side. A few maintenance issues here and there and it really needs a thoroughly good clean. BBQ igniter is actually missing. (I guess that’s one way to reduce cleaning.) Location just across from beach and park. A club is just around the corner. Centre of town is a 10 min walk away. Nice view of main beach from the penthouse.

Die Lage des Hauses am schönsten Strand von Port Macquarie ist schwer zu übertreffen, zumal man in 15 Minuten Fußweg auch in der Ortsmitte ist, wo es Auswahl an Läden und Restaurants gibt. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, alle zum Meer ausgerichtet und mit großen Balkonen. Es handelt sich wie bei allen "Mantra"-Häusern um ein Selbstversorger-Hotel, die Ausstattung dafür einschließlich Waschmaschine und Trockner (1 Wascheinheit für je 2 Zimmer) durchaus ausreichend. Für ein Selbstversorger-Hotel sehr ordentlicher Servive -- jeden Tag kommt jemand mit frischen Handtüchern, den Müll abzuholen, die Kaffeebar aufzufüllen. Kotenloses Parken in der Tiefgarage.
