We pre booked and stayed for one night on our way through. The carpets are stained and there was a slight unpleasant smell. They had redone kitchen area. The rooms are quite dark. Bathroom was not redone and very old. We wont be staying here again.

Pet Not So Friendly

Pet Friendly Warning - Confirm Final Pricing Before You Book! If you are planning to book here with a pet, be sure you confirm the final pricing - in writing - before you book. We had a one night stay booked, confirmed and paid for and on a Saturday afternoon, approximately 45 minutes before we were meant to arrive we received a phone call from the property confirming 1) our arrival time because the front desk was closing early (?), and 2) requesting a CC number for incidentals and the additional $50 pet cleaning room fee. The latter being the first we had heard of an additional charge above and beyond what was booked, confirmed and pre-paid. We were taken aback and not over $50 but the practice which left us no choice, late afternoon on a Saturday, than to submit to the property's practice. The well meaning employee who had the unfortunate responsibility to make that phone call did their best to explain the property's policy and suggested information about additional charges for pet cleaning was on the website. Frankly would not matter if said information is on the website (which we could not find after scouring the property's website) any and all charges other than incidentals should have been made clear at the time of the booking and pre-payment. All up, after the no notice, surprise additional charge, $247 for a one night stay in an average at best property in Wagga Wagga NSW is terrible value.

Pathetic

Just a motel ! Pathetic inclusions and false advertising ! We've stayed in many motels , all over Australia and Asia, BUT this is the worst! There is absolutely nothing positive to add ! If you have already paid for your room, it would be wise just to cut your losses and go somewhere else !

Staff helpful but room in poor condition

Centrally located so convenient, bar area spacious and comfortable. Rooms showing wear and tear. In my room the phone was not working, toilet roll holder held on by rubber band and what looked like dried faeces left on outside of toilet bowl. Staff were helpful however I got the impression that maintenance was not high on the priority. Unlikely to stay here again as there are many other options nearby.

Not happy Jan!

It’s started with no one on reception (staff shortage checkin 4pm sat), no staff for most of weekend, restaurant closed for the long weekend. No breakfast on Monday. Nobody mention of any of this in til we arrived. This is more a motel than hotel. We booked the more expensive room over other hotels expecting more…and got less. The king spa room has a corner spa with the shower over it. As both myself and hubby are over 6ft this doesn’t work for us. And speaking of bathrooms you open the door and are greeted by the toilet front and centre. The taps over the spa leaked so a constant dripping all weekend. But no staff so no calls to maintenance. The room itself was fine but for more than $250 a night I expect more than painted brick walls. There were other minor things wrong (such as the ceiling light askew, bed old etc) but moving on. The carpets throughout were worn and the cleaning less than expected. An example of this was in the 24hr entry (as reception was closed all weekend). Someone had spilt food in the centre of this hallway sometime before we arrived. It had still not been cleaned by the time we checked out on Monday. Overall we would not stay here again and would warn anyone staying here to be aware of what they were getting into. The carpets throughout are stained with the hallway to the 24hr access door having someone spilt food on Saturday and still there Monday.
