A Relaxing Family Getaway at Mantra Hervey Bay

We stayed at Mantra Hervey Bay during the school holidays and had a lovely time as a family. The serviced apartments were clean, well-appointed, and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, with beautiful marina views and a great selection of restaurants just a short stroll away. It made dining out with the kids a breeze, with plenty of family-friendly options close by. Parking in the secure area was a bit tricky when returning later in the evening, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker; just something to keep in mind if you're planning a busy day out. The hotel amenities were decent, though we were a little disappointed that the pool was temporarily closed due to a chemical imbalance. Hopefully that’s all sorted now as it would’ve been a great way to cool off after a day of exploring. Just a short 5-10min walk away is a nice little beach area anyway. All in all, Mantra Hervey Bay delivered a solid and enjoyable stay. It’s a great base for families looking to soak up the relaxed coastal vibe of Hervey Bay. We’d happily return!

I was travelling alone to tick off a couple of retirement bucket list items. This is the perfect place to stay for whale watching and K’Gari tours. The room was a little dated but clean and the view from the balcony was amazing! Easy walk to restaurants and tours with outdoor parking provided. The staff were so helpful and treated me like family. I would definitely stay here again. Pay the little extra for the Marina view. Well worth it!

What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway,ended up with us being stressed out due to the worry of setting off the fire alarm after having a shower,have never experienced this anywhere in the world,and you get charged on your card if fire brigade comes,the whole room could have done with a good scrub,not just a wipe over the kitchen was good with everything you'd need,the Marina is lovely,you need a car if you want to explore further,didn't get acknowledged when we checked out,pretty poor.

We have just finished our stay at the Mantra and it was excellent. I think they are the friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel my wife and I have stayed at. A special shout out to the maintenance man. I had a problem with the door and he was at the room within minutes and fixed the issue straight away. I would definitely recommend it

As an Accor Plus Diamond member I've seen a lot of Accor rooms and the Mantra was a great disappointment. We booked a 1 bedroom, marina facing room for 4 nights and I was amazed at how tired and shabby it looked. Despite having a balcony overlooking the marina the apartment was dark throughout. Mantra desperately needs a make over.
