The Mantra on Salt's accommodation was beyond that expected! One Bedroom apartment suited us perfectly.

Very, very disappointing! I travelled from Brisbane to meet a friend from Sydney. I was shocked when I checked into the room. It was very small and very dated. I had also asked for the beds to be made into two singles (phoned the day before). The bathroom vsnity was cracked and swollen, and the mirror was corroded. The towels were thin and stiff. The tv had no service other than Foxtel. The ceiling was cracked and in need of a paint job. The entrance to our room was adjoining another room and they were very noisy coming and going early morning. (Very poor design). The bar closed very early and there was no where to get a drink or snack. I would not recommend, and cannot deliver it is 4 star.

Staying for two nights in a business conference , my room was perfectly acceptable. A suite that was large, well appointed and comfortable. Room 5106 I think?? Whilst it was on the ground floor and with a view of the car park it wasn’t an issue as it was a business trip not a holiday. If i was on holiday i would have liked a view. The resort is spacious and excellently appointed with a large pool and leisure area. My only gripe was that the cocktail bar didn’t open until 7 pm….lot of thirsty guest around prior to that!!!!

Stayed in a spa suite. The spa suite was an apartment with separate lounge, a kitchenette, laundry, large balcony and, obviously, a spa bath in the bathroom. The resort itself is lovely with two pools and easy access to restaurants and the hotel. My only disappointment was the bar within the resort was not open. Would highly recommend.

Rooms are musty and smell damp

The room smelt musty and damp. Floors were worn. Spa bath would not turn off on the second night. Management sent a cleaner to fix???? Then the manager came to try and fix it of course he couldn’t. Then was told we had to change rooms. This all happened between 9pm and 11pm so was not happy. The room we were in originally had a view of the garden and waterfront. The room we were moved to was smaller and was on the road. Would not recommend
