One night stay to go to a concert

We have stayed in a large number of hotels in the Melbourne CBD and needed reasonably priced accommodation for a single night to go to a concert at the nearby Sydney Myer music bowl. It is a little tricky to navigate the roads leading to Brunton Avenue as there are no u- turns & stopping zones but google maps helped & I am familiar with the area. I should have paid more attention to the parking as it needed to be pre-paid & there were no bays available. That said the staff were very helpful with on street parking including costs & hourly rates. I would recommend for a short stay but prefer hotels with restaurants & a bar 7 days.

Double charged for accomodation and Mantra not reimbursing.

We prepaid for our accommodation, but they have charged us again despite showing proof of the initial payment and the secondary charge. They’re still refusing to process the refund, and, as they are no longer responding, we may have no choice but to file a dispute with our credit card company.

Great service. Room was comfortable and clean. Location perfect for our trip. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Booking was easy to do online. I would definitely recommend to people and stay again for our next trip to Melbourne!

Gute Unterkunft Nähe Zentrum

Da im Zentrum die Preise während unseres Zeitraumes sehr hoch waren, haben wir uns für dieses Hotel entschieden, fußläufig kann man die Stadt recht gut erreichen und auch mit der Tram kommt man schnell ins Zentrum. Die Unterkunft ist typisch amerikanisch eingerichtet (dadurch etwas altbacken), dennoch alles sauber. Mit dem Internet ist es hier wie in allen Mantra-Hotels, ohne Registrierung für deren Hotelprogramm, ist es arschteuer. Somit sollte man gleich bei Ankunft, die Registrierung einmalig vornehmen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war leider ein Fahrstuhl defekt, somit musste man etwas warten, aber war auch kein großes Problem.
