Rooms were neat and fresh, breakfast buffet was nice too (their coffee is amazing). Staff always wanted to assist and were really friendly. Location is good and city centre is just 2 light rail stops away. They have option of 2 bedrooms suite which is perfect for families.

I had made an error in my haste when booking a room for my family. I had booked 2 different apartments with 2 rooms instead of the intended single apartment with 2 rooms. I only realised my error when I checked into Mantra later in the afternoon. Nikhil who was the Front Office Manager at reception was exceptionally accomodating and understood my predicament and adjusted my booking at no extra change - something which he didn’t have to do. Very grateful for the extension of this courtesy to him and his front office team. Thank you. Had a great breakfast, rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Have stayed at this property before and would have no hesitate to go back when I’m back in Canberra.

Some of the benefits I enjoyed while staying at the Mantra MacArthur included: * large corner room * comfortable king bed * in room microwave * lovely buffet breakfast * helpful, friendly and efficient staff * 5 minute walk to light rail station * under 10 minutes on light rail to CBD

Handy location near light rail, close to city centre. Spacious room although no clothes storage other than hanging space for a few items. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, 2 couples, however there were only 2 chairs at the dining table. Otherwise, clean and tidy rooms. Reception staff were very helpful and answered any queries. Highly recommend.

Had trouble finding entry to the motel, it requires better signage. Reception staff were friendly and helpful with anything I required, had a disabled accessible room as my wife is in a wheelchair. For a reasonably large room the side of bed access was tight, the bathroom had been renovated and there was a reasonably high rise at the entry into it and my wife couldn’t wheel her chair up into the room. The room was tidy and comfortable but the housekeeping need to do a better job, dirty microwave, something had spilt through the fridge and had leaked out into the cabinet and hadn’t been cleaned up. The garbage cupboard was filthy with rubbish behind it and dirty, the tea and coffee container was dirty inside and a used teaspoon inside it. Everything needs a good clean and wipe over. The room had everything in it you needed and parking is ok just not in the motel itself. Just a pity the restaurant is only opened for breakfast and there is no barista there to use the coffee machine. Overall a reasonably good place just needs a good going over and get it running to its full potential so that the guests can take full advantage of it.
